Okay, a minor set-back. Some post-debacle notes:
[list=I want to see Shaq rape Vlade in Game 6, because that bastard has become a complete sissy. Hey, Divac!! Magic [i:00ba019ff7]never[/i:00ba019ff7] taught you to play like a sissy!! Use your brains, but not to disguise yourself as a female! (no offense ladies + ohtotoro)...
Sure, Kobe missed the last shot, but who else would you want (other than Horry I guess?) to be taking that clutch shot? I was actually kind of eager to see Kobe try and beat up on the Kings when Shaq fouled out, because he takes it as a challenge and chance to showcase just how much of this team he can have w/o Shaq in there.
If the Lakers do lose the series, hopefully, everyone will remember not that everyone on the team missed the 3's...but that the team didn't stay disciplined and hungry enough to play simple and aggressive, like they did in the second half of Game 4.]

Okay, I'm happy of course that we're going to Game 7, but the Lakers are going to have to play a much different game to beat the Kings on Sunday. They definitely won't be able to depend on getting those kinds of calls from the refs.
I am so sick of seeing Floppy Divac wink and smile to the refs and to his bench after he blatantly tries to draw the foul against Shaq and then later laughs in disgust because the calls don't go his way.
I also liked seeing Kobe elbow Mike Bibby to the face; it's time the Lakers get down and dirty.

yah. kobe's got them michael cooper elbows! throw dem bows!
after much personal debate and tv replays... I think the ref saw the Bibby foul on Kobez but didn't blow the whistle, so when Kobe smacked him in the mouth the ref let it go. tit for tat. That's how it should go. Hopefully tomorrow the officiating will be consistent on both sides of the court.
true true. Lakers do have to play a different game. Hopefully it'll be a game where the officiating is FAIR. I hate Vlade. stupid gay. Just because Shaq doesn't flinch when Vlade slaps his wrist doesn't mean he shouldn't get a foul call.
GO LAKERS!

A lotta people have this misconception of Kobe as this total pretty boy who just smiles during interviews and stars in cute Mickey-D's commercials...and that's all true! But like the guy he wants to emulate (MJ), Kobe has a competitiveness that's very cutthroat...he likes to put his foot to your neck. I just hope he does it more often tomorrow (today! shit!).

Well if the entire series is any indication, then I expect Shaq will have three, maybe even four fouls by halftime, and hopefully the Lakers will have something in mind. No matter what, Shaq will get 20 - 25 points and Kobe will get in the low 20s at least...
...that means FISHER NEEDS TO STEP UP!

shaq was KILLING ME during the 2nd and 3rd quarters though. I swear to God, I thought he was injured cuz he looked so lethargic out there. He wasn't contesting anything...
I always knew Webber would choke. He'll never have the heart of a true champ -- he's a great role player though:) I would never want him leading my team. And VLADE! Oh my god. Ever since he missed those free throws down in San Antonio while he was a Laker...he's been a huge-ass choker.
Bibby needs to come play for a [b:ae73a7caa3]real[/b:ae73a7caa3] team. I think the Lakers might be able to find room on their roster for him -- depending on whether Fisher's healthy or not:)
