Something doesn't go right with me when it comes to her. Her "dumb" attitude is annoying because I think she's totally faking it just to market herself. There's no way possible that somebody could be that dumb on such a consistent basis.

Yeah, i'm pretty sure Dazzler has always been a rock star turned X-man. Ultimate incarnation has her singing rock/heavy metal, but she may have been more of a poprock kind of girl in earlier incarnations. I'm certain she used to be blonde, too.
