That's so odd coming from you.

I remember being on the ski bus (ski club ya know) and almost sitting on this seat with a dried up puddle. Also, when I was 11, my friends and I went to this party place where we had to change into our swimsuits at one point. There was this used pad lying in the middle of one of the benches in the change room and it was gross.
Fun with tampons: Dip in tabasco sauce and leave it somewhere. I placed one on top of a random door knob once.

Yeah, but not really very noticeably more. Weirder food, too. Err.. not *weirder* food... but sometimes I'll just randomly want a certain thing. And it's not like a normal craving, it's like.. I HAVE to get it.

I think I was in 6th or 7th grade. I first used a tampon, though, when I was in like, 8th or 9th. For a while, I was worried. I wasn't sure where to put it. :blink:

Usually when it's that time, the period angel comes and makes me really have to pee. So when I get to the bathroom I notice. Usually before it gets too bad. But nowdays, I never leak because my birth control pills tell me when it's that time. I know to the day and the hour.

Really? Those bastards!!! Now that I think about it, for a while when I used those Compak things, I think I filled em up faster than when I used Playtex. Or maybe that was just because I wasn't taking my birth control regularly. Not sure. I don't use Tampax. Is that really true????

Ewww!!! People really leak THAT much??? I think if it was the heaviest day of my period, I'd have to sit on a bench the entire day to get it to have a huge puddle with a bubble!!! Maybe I'd have a pretty bad smear... but NO WAY a puddle. Sickk... I guess I'm lucky.

me, i just have a normal appetite. and i got my period when i was 10 years old. i tried a tampon when i was like 12.. and it hurt.. and it still hurts when i try to use it... so i dont even bother using one. and me, i've never even been in a situation where it was necessary to use a condom.... anyways thankfully, that i dont have any embarrasing stories to share...

I have this problem too. Try the slim fit/teen size tampons. That should work.

no. i don't even know which side is the correct side up till now. i once had an instant noodle party in my uni dorm. we girls filled up some condoms my best friend (guy) gave me for my 18th birthday with water and started slapping each other with it. very durable. use durex.

I tend to eat alot regardless. Though I tend to seek more 'comfort' foods whilst on my period.

I was in year 7 so about 12 or 13. Started using tampons at 14 or so.

We had to use glue sticks or testubes for that (or something equally as weird). When it came to the crunch though years later I still put it on wrong.

I've leaked before but it wasn't a big deal. This one time at my friends house I leaked and went to the bathroom locked the door and washed it out. Thank god she had a hairdryer.

I can't believe tampax does that! Btw do you guys have a luxury tax on women's sanitary stuff? We do here in Aust and it irks me. Luxury?!?!

I'm scared of toxic shock syndrome too. Because I usually leak at night I use both a tampon and a pad and keep the tampon in till the next morning. Is this dangerous/ okay? I really need to know.

ya, i eat more when i'm on my period. i got it around my 12th birthday. lovely gift. :! i've never used a tampon, and i never will. they scare me. i think i'm a bit too young to be having sex ed (luckily), and i doubt i'll ever use condoms seeing as i'm planning on staying a virgin until i get married. once i was sick and i hadn't realized my period had started, cuz it had started early, and to make things worse, i usually go commando... luckily, i always wear black pants, so it didn't show up, and my mom came in and brought my stuff. wicked mortifying.

I've heard about the TAMPAX thang. Also, I've heard that the bleaching process that most companies use in making tampons is also something that's not good for our bodies... I forgot which brand does it, but there are at least a couple of teeny-tiny brands that don't bleach the cotton in their tampons... & it's supposedly a better thing...

In my teen years, I was allllways scared of getting toxic shock synd too... but not as much now. :dance:
