LOL
Auditions are coming up and the closest location available to me is New Orleans, Lousiana
hmmmm unless I get some major pressure from YW and other sources to try a second time, I am definitely skipping this
My bet is on nobody cares enough hahah
but hey miracles can happen *cough cough*

why do you need other people's input to do something?
we're talking about auditioning for american idol not stereotactic brain surgery here.
if you wanna do it; do it. if you don't; don't do it.
a man needs to have self confidence.

if you really wanna do it and something that you truly want to do. it'll be worth it.
if you don't then it's not worth it.
i don't understand what's so hard to understand about it.

He tried out before, right?
Might recognize him / expect more the second time around.
The performance has got to be stronger.

i don't understand what's so hard to understand about it.at this point I'd like to point out a nice stereotype that works to my advantage here
I'm asian and I'm cheap
not really but heh
I'm just doubting myself and also I'm not liking the whole travelling thing since I just came back from a bad business trip...
edit: I just realized that if I'm going to go i either need to know someone there
or I need to book a hotel soon
anyone here from new orleans?
Edit2: nevermind...just did a search on YW pulled up only two threads one of them was this one

that really has nothing to do with the prime directive does it?
one bad experience and you doubt yourself? how do you get up in the mornings?
and money shouldn't really be a problem for you since you did offer to fly some of us out to somewhere to try and revitalize A magazine.
the fact that you're teeter-tottering means you don't wanna do it. if you do wanna do it; i wish you luck and may the force of william hung, god rest his soul, be with you. <ppppppppsssssssst and do let them know you did prison time, ok?>

Let them know you're in a gang! Roll up with your crew too. Why not Bai? You might as well. You live only once.

already forgetting the little people i see ;( You've bugged me about this before and I don't appreciate it
whether or not you have a problem with me or you really are "just looking out"
just bury it
bringing it up takes this thread off topic anyways
...and the aMagazine thing...i would have...but then Pierre Wu fucked us and himself over with the whole $500000 investment bullshit
for now we'll leave that case closed until he wisens up

Let's change the direction, here, then.
If you were to go, what would you plan to sing?
(Anything but Whitney stuff. Of course male auditioners don't do Whitney do they? Figuratively speaking.)

Boys, behave, please. :)
New direction -- I agree, if you want to, just do it. If you don't want to, don't. I think this is the kind of decision you should make on your own.

Hey, as long as you don't challenge old singers like myself to some karaoke showdown () then you have my support all the way. True professionals don't give a shit about how good other singers are, they should care by how much they themselves can improve.

A strong, current song.
If you've follow past auditions, the judges sort of knock the singers who sing the old stuff.
And there's nothing worse than coming off sounding unpassioned.

Well, if you want to go with the image is everything notion:
* Contacts over glasses.
* Do something new with the hair.
Look at how Clay Aiken was transformed.
