poor sales in europe and japan have spured Subaru to change the look fo the WRX.

I like the new headlights much better than the old round ones. The round ones had no business being on such a boxy and generally squared off car. I'm fearful about those new taillights though. Enough with the red circles in otherwise non circular, chrome and/or white fixtures...

I think it's a small improvement. They should offer a package with a vastly improved interior in the future. That is one of my major compaints with the car.

i guess ren u never sat on sTI version seats huh. their alot nicer and more grippy fabric wise.

Nope. I have never seen a real STi let alone sat in one. The only real JDM car I have ever driven is a '98 ITR and I thought it was sorta spunky. It has Recaro's stock. My ass got all hot after driving it only a couple minutes because those deep buckets trap the heat. I also sat in a few 1/2 cars before... heh.

I don't really like cloth seats. If I get replacement seats, they will likely be leather like the Sparco Milano offering.

yah i sat in STI version 6 seats man they rock their basically in the same league (and price if u buy seperate) as Sparco Torino or Recaro SRD (which is used in ITR, S2000, and a few other cars). But overall stock seat wise the R32 and R33 GTR seats i like alot.

;) sorry to say but that design crew at subaru needs to clean house. they had a good foundation w/ the one before the current model. now they had to make it like a tiny little economy car. they should make it more like european rally sedans. more muscular, less buggy and cute.

i like those seats actually i sat in previous gen STi seats b4 not the prettiest things but they are supportive and yes the interior of the new models sparse but hey its not a BMW is my idea.

Um Mao they redesigned to european and japanese tastes. look at the pictures of the new model it is less buggy and looks more like the legacy. Overall it looks better in my view also who cares how it looks its all bout whats under the hood. the ej20 high rev type in the sti is an excellent motor and its 6-speed is leagues stronger...so I-club ppl tell me.

also to me the new look is nice it looks alot cleaner then the current gen. i also really like the FMIC in the grill area that the race version has, good idea and i hope sumone duplicates it for a street car.

i'm not knocking the engine. the interior looks pretty good ithink. i'd like to sit in it to give a better opinion.

i still think it resembles a body style suzuki would make.

seats are nice their made by Bride the same manufactuer that makes stock nissan 240sx/ silvia and skyline seats.
