The question is does one get overplayed as a matter of theatrical criticism?

hmmm?

another thought, also ironic that tom sizemore plays the paparazzi guy cuz he himself had his reputation ruined after the heidi fleiss beat down story in the tabloids

No name, and bland acting. Why the heck didn't Mel Gibson just play the Laramie roll himself?

Saw the DVD.

I reread my sentence and it didn't make immediate sense to me, either.

I guess what I was asking was whether the portrayal of the paparazzis would be overdone.

After watching the DVD, I'm wondering if they are that much as the scumbags they were protrayed to be.

This thread is old, but I didn't want to start an new one about the subject.

I just wanted to bring it up because I saw that whole incident w/ Paris Hilton & paparazzi.

It seems that the paparazzi were overzealous there trying to take snapshots of Paris. I know they get paid handsomely for any shots of celebrities but I think they go to far. Shit, I mean they stood so close to the car that when the driver revved his engine it didn't faze them. A part of me thinks that they bear some of the responsiblity if they get hurt. They just take "no" for an answer no matter what. Glad I am not a celebrity.

I thought the whole problem was that he was driving with a jacket over his head...ummm, not quite the smartest thing to do. I understand he was trying to shield himself from the paparazzi, but c'mon. But I agree though, papazzi go way too far most of the times. Paris could barely get into the car.
