Street Fighter II Turbo.

Although my game was Alpha III, haha that ryu hopkick VC/infinite owns and Gouki's OTG's! Blew the game wide open.

I was hardcore Streetfighter used to join all the tournaments. But you Cali peeps owned (John Choi, Alex Valle, Mike Watson and Tomo Ohira etc). Used to get all the combo tapes too like TZW, Daigo etc etc.

Hahah for some sick capcom fighting game combo's, go to www.shoryuken.com. They have the big USA (best of US) vs best of Japan tournaments in all the capcom fighting games. I really appreciate the hard combo's because it requires manual dexterity, speed, coordination and timing. One of the first things I wanna do when I go to Cali is go to the famous golfland arcade in Sunnyvale, check out my skillz, sheesh haven't played in awhile hahah gonna get p0wned.

Hahah go fighting games!

Ken is actually my Street Fighter of choice. I just like Fei Long 'cause he's fuckin' Bruce Lee! Alls I know is that the Street Fighters got too crazy/weird for me after Super Street Fighter II Turbo. I should really learn how to play those new games so I don't get left behind.

Hahah that's when it got great, with the introduction of supers in Street Fighter II turbo the New Warriors ie Cammy, T-Hawk, Deejay and Fei-long.

Then alpha II came out with the ability to link normal hits to supers. Like ryu's jump in roundhouse, crouch jab, crouch short into his shinkuu-hadoken (super fireball). But what really turned it around was the added ability to Custom Combo (C.C.) which granted you a frame of invulnerablity allowing you to blow right thru an opponent's attack. Chun-Li was top tier because of this along with her insane pokes and priorities. 99% of the top tournament players used her.

Then alpha III came out with the ability to choose your custom play style ie X= old school turbo II, A= alpha II, V= version of CC's. V is the best groove to use. V characters were considered to be the best groove to use. Haha i took me forever to learn the VC rhythm and timing for V-Ryu's hopkick VC and the Gouki's OTG.

Damn, I miss playing SF. <sigh>

Alpha II and Alpha III was a combo-nut's wet dream.

Wow, I'm such a geek.

So SF is definitely my fave old school series of all time.
