I'm boring. Outside of anything Miyazaki, I only watch like Lain or Cowboy Bebop.
Oops, I lied. I forgot that I had Metropolis and Chinese Ghost Story (animated).
Nothing very unique.

i watch alota fan subs heres wat i seen recently
Argento Soma - ex cowboy bebop team members and others make a X-files like Grim and Gritty mecha/ alien mystery series w/ lots of shakespherian references. This is a somber realistic story filled w/ hate, hurt, and angst. but lots of hope and redeption its based of Macbeth loosely.
http://www.geocities.com/argsomaps/
Rahxephon - mecha designer from chars counter attack and gasaraki leads an ambicious team of in this lavishly animated mecha and psychological drama that is based upon Jewish legend and middle eastern idealogy (non muslim non christian/jewish). About a boy and his learning and loosing his humanity seems like evangellion but ends up being more well explained and also character developed more. Mech and music show.

Full Metal Panic - comedy and giant robot show about a young high school girl Kaname and her adventures with Mithryl and the enigmatic Sgt. Sagara Sanosuke. Studio Gonzo lots of computer animation w/ new cell shadding very realistic in sum ways funny and somber at times.
http://www.abstratica.org/anime/fmp/fmp.html
.Hack - ever wondered what it'd be like to be stuck in everquest or phantasy star online an not be able to get out then this shows for u. Little action mostly psyclogical and conversation based tension but shows strong characterization carries itself
http://www.animelegacy.net/reviews/misc/.h...ign_4262002.php (http://www.animelegacy.net/reviews/misc/.hack_sign/.hack_sign_4262002.php)
Hellsing - trigun w/ vampires and it aint funny. but just hard core vampire killing action in a short 13 eps series.
Vandread - mecha comedy show its a bit heavy handed at times and at other times slapstick 2 seasons of 13 episodes.

Well, I just finished Chobits and now I'm moving onto other series (I.E. ~ Onegai Teacher, Excel Saga, Full Metal Panic and etc). Even though anime has sounds, moving pictures and all that, I actually prefer manga over anime. Then again, that's just me.

hey wylin,
watched Hellsing, Vandread, and some of RahXephon. Liked em all so far, although Rah seems a lot like Evagelion (weird.. havent decided if I like it).
saw 1st ep of .hack but ran out of room on my harddrive... will have to start burning everything (~60Gb worth)
--------
Kenshin, Love Hina, Ranma, Cowboy Bebop, and Escaflowne are the ones that got me hooked!
Other ones that I've been watching include:
Chobits - A world where people and personcons live in harmony. It follows the tale of one rurouni and his personcon, Chii
Ai Yori Aoshi - kinda like Love hina, with a college student living with a house full of girls; less physical beatings/antics
Onegai Teacher - Ever have a crush on your hot teacher? Well, even though I thought this was cheesy, I found myself watching the rest of the episodes. Touches on a lot of different relationship issues.
Mahoromatic - Another series by Gainax that seems like a fan-service maid show (a la Hand Maid May, or Hanaukyo Maid), but really is a charming series about the relationship between the main boy and girl.
Trigun - Like Cowboy Bebop, but in the Old West genre. Goes from comedic to serious as the series progresses.
X TV - Supposedly stays true to the manga (as opposed to the movie that was created). Lots of retrospection mixed into the amazing fight scenes.
Tokyo Underground - Above ground people vs. below ground people using element-based powers.
FLCL - 6 epi anime made by Gainax and weird... cool soundtrack, great animation.
Thanks for the suggestions guys! :)

new stuffs will's watching.
Samurai Deeper Kyo- More historical samurai loving kenshinish style but w/ killing.
.Hack/hack sign Luminality OVA - continuation of battle w/ dark Aura...
Kiddy Grade - Science fiction type stuff
One Piece - Shonen jump style fun and sillyness w/ pirates. =)
Gundam Seed - Normals vs. Zaft stylish retelling of a 1-year war Alternate universe type conflict more serious the the other altenernate realities. Of gundam series it reminds me most of 0083 Stardust memories OVA series.
Naruto - comedic ninja laughs w/ diarhea....
Ghost in the Shell TV series - very lavishly animated new TV series.

INU YASHA!!!!
ok ok, that's cuz I'm trying to collect all the episodes, but it's pretty damn cool.
I would watch this if they ever made this manga to anime:
Blade of the Immortal (like kenshin, but with AWESOME fights done without the "thousand strike of ... whatever school sword fist!!!" in other words, fights don't have people going how their school or art is perfect, etc, etc. Just raw carnage. Okie doke, I've gone too much on this."
Anime:
Tekkaman Blade (hence my avatar)
Record of Lodoss War (OAV) [tv series kinda sucked]
Escaflowne, Ranma 1/2, Kare Kano (His or Her Circumstances), Gunbusters (SERIOUSLY GOOD SERIES), Evangelion, That one anime with the blue ninja cat? And it's not Samurai Pizza Cats ppl. Cowboy Bebop, and Trigun Definitely.
well the list would go on and on, but that's off the top of my head.

Hmmmmm, faves.....
Rurouni Kenshin - Hey Fireblade, bite it, it's just that much funnier when someone is yelling something that you can't hear before slashing at you with a sword!! Then again that was in the TV series, the OVAs are the hardcore good ol' hack and slash....
Initial D - Never in my life have I ever wanted to be a Tofu delivery guy in my life
Kare Kano - Never got to finish it, but it was cool from what I saw
Tekkaman Blade - And of course the angry asian guy gets the girl
Gundam Wing - the Army buff always gets the girl
Full Metal Panic - Damn, gotta love those hard up guys who almost always getting the girl......
Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball GT
Evangelion - makes ya wonder sometimes
Pokemon - I never wanted to hate furry animals more in my life, but couldn't
Digimon - Kinda makes me regret smashing my cousin's Digi-thingamabob
Sailor Moon TV/Movies - Ahhh, the classic magical girls in short skirts, that transformation sequence is the main reason most of the sad sad guys I know watch the darned series, heh
Ranma 1/2 - A sometimes guy/sometimes girl dealing with hormonal inbalances in everyone else, sheesh
The Big O - Lol, I just love the name, and the huge robot rocks
Cowboy Bebop - Heh, Welsh Corgies aren't that cool in real life (Ein aka the lil dog is a welsh corgy)
Escaflowne - Yay more robots and nosy girls who don't know when not to get in trouble
DNA Squared - Man, makes me wish I puked everytime I see an attractive girl, oh wait I do...............
Fireblade

yeah, i gotta admit, as good as kenshin is, there is sometimes too much talk and too much repetition of the same moves. BUT it also ran 95 eps so shrugz, only a certain # of moves a person can execute over such a long series. :)
Raunchy, but non-graphic sexual humour... I just bought Junk Boy and Golden Boy. Funny as hell, but not explicitly graphic... in fact Golden Boy never "gets the girl" in the traditional sense.
I plan to buy the complete 1st Starblazers series for myself because I doubt anyone else will. And Captin Harlock! I haven't gotten into the new anime... ie- neo genisis evangelion (-sp?) etc...
and um... I bought the powerpuff girls movie because the 9 yr olds at work got me into them

hmm..i think i tend to watch the more "mainstream" anime:
rurouni kenshin
trigun
cowboy bebop
ranma 1/2
inu yasha
vampire princess miyu
vampire hunter d
princess mononoke
fushigi yugi
slamdunk
but then, i prefer reading the manga more:
rurouni kenshin
inu yasha
x
fushigi yugi
ranma 1/2
