If you're pretty much out of the high school scene now, what's your take on the newest generation of kiddies, aka the future leaders of our country? I admit back when I was in high school, me and my ilk seemed to be a pretty hopeless bunch, even with us being in the "gifted" class, but it still seems like such a 360 with kids that are like 15 and 16 now than when I was that age. The same shit is still going on as far as negativity(though I guess that's a common way to feel during the teen years anyway). I think I'm just getting old or whatever, man...talking about those damn whippersnappers running on my lawn and what not.

i just went to see my old art teacher today and maybe im just whitewashed but i keep thinking theres more asian kids and they are getting younger and shorter, its probly just cuz im relatively tall for an asian, course this one dude was buff but short, anyway

i guess they look pretty smart too, but yesterday some scrawny punkasses that i think i saw in the parking lot basically sped past me, like they were behind me at a stop sign and (godamnit my computers acting like its got a million applications running) went around me, and i think one of the kids in the car was this kid who lives near me who's the brother of a girl who's my year and he's always been a punk so shows what kinda lot he hangs with (they were all non-asians btw)

what am i trying to say? i guess its the whole grass is greener, i mean i look at these kids objectively cuz i duno them by name, so yeah.

oh and cars are the bane of society, cuz u know in the future its just gonna be punks in their aero-rockets and jetpacks just shitting all over the road

to be honest, I'm a senior at a University in CA and I look around and think all those things about my PEERS, sometimes. From hippies to junkies, etc, it's like damn guys, grow up and get a job.

but then again, if i had mommy and daddy's trust fund or whatever these kids pay their insane amount of rent with, i might be able to live by ridiculous notions like "less is more, be pure be poor."

anyways, kids don't grow up, we just pick different stupid things to do with our time. pogs anyone?

I think I'm Gen Y. Maybe. I don't know. If the rest of Gen Y is like me, we are in a hell of a lot of trouble.
