I donno, I got it on the second try. It's one of those you-solve-it-right-away-or-you-don't type things. A game based on a single idea which isn't all that clever doesn't really satisfy me. If it was a part of a larger puzzle it would be interesting, assuming each part required some semi-intuitive thinking. Hell I'm fucking drunk and got it which probably helped me. If you solved it or didn't I don't think you really should worry much about it. I kinda like lethalweapon's survivor-like quests and crimson room a bit more since a single idea doesn't drive the entire thing.

You solved the pattern on your first try? Don't you have to repeat the game at least more than once to confirm/reject your conjecture?
