Do you think your physical appearance matches your personality, as in, you're a straight up hardcore, foul mouthed individual, yet if someone sees you, they'd immediately think you were a goody goody, for lack of a better term? Or if you take on the quote unquote "goth mindset", yet you look like you just stepped off the set of Mean Girls, as one of the...Mean Girls?" Some girl from class told me the other day, "you look so young and innocent, yet when you start talking, it's like you're all older and sarcastic". I have no idea what older and sarcastic is, so I guess it's best left to the imagination.

OMG that describes me exactly! People think I'm nerdy and that I love science and math and that I'm nice.................then add to the fact I'm half-asian...............but when they get to know me, it's like they're surprised that 1) no I'm not a nice person, as a matter of fact I can be a real asshole, 2) no I do not like science or math at all, and 3) I cuss. Some people are surprised to hear me swear (not my close friends but those who don't know me) cause I look so damn innocent on the outside. It's gotten to the point to where people actually try to tell me that I'm not being myself, even though I know better. People who don't even know me trying to tell me who I am. As a biracial person, I feel like people have been doing this since I was five years old and I get extremely annoyed by stuff like that. And people wonder why I'm so unfriendly to people I don't know.

People think just because you're smart you should be stick thin and geeky looking or fat and geeky looking (i.e. stereotypical nerdish figure.) Not true.

People say I look like a pleasant individual and it's true most of the time. They're surprised when they see me interact with others when I'm thoroughly upset. Extreme verbal abuse. Nothing to be proud of. :frown:

Me too. On the outside I have a head that's too small and cone-shaped, along with ears that are too big with pointy tips like an elf, plus my hair line is WAY back like an old man. My eyes are ugly and I'm way too skinny.



It'd probably help if I had a good personality but I really don't. Some people say I'm nice but those are the people who don't know me for real. In real life, I'm bitter and anti-social. I don't trust people and assume people will dislike me even before I get to know them, and I don't even speak to people I know when I see them unless they speak to me first, so they think I'm rude. Plus people give me shit all the time and everything, so it just makes me look constantly angry and depressed.

most people say that on the outside, i tend to look lonely, depressed and unmotivated and at times, this matches my feelings and personality perfectly. in not an exaggerated sense, per say. they also say i look kind, but can sense shyness and a troubled approach. so yes, (for the most part ^_^) my face and personality go together.

It sounds like many of us either have too low of an opinion about ourselves or we're simply not fit for public consumption, hence the daily need to go on the Net to interact with likeminded individuals on YW. :biggrin:

We should turn this thread into a variation of that link to those brutally honest personals RiceCracker posted awhile back.
