corned beef vs. spam

i've never had canned corned beef before, but i like spam musubi.. so i guess spam. ya know what though? spam is really unhealthy, and i imagine corned beef is also. errr.. well, whatever.. :unsure:

It's all about the corned beef i hash. Those chunks of potatoes do wonders to cut down the saltiness. SPAM is too gelatinous, almost synthetic, or if cultured in a petri dish.

All this talk of SPAM and corned beef hash finally got to me. As I was at the grocery store today, I happened by the "canned meats" aisle and had to pick me up some. My choice? Libby's Corned Beef Hash. Shit looks kinda scary. When I finally decide to dig into that mofo, I'll let you know how it goes.

Yes! I'm talking 'bout a huge chunk o' meat, twice the size of a pot roast, slow-cooked all day in a crock pot with some cabbage and potatoes -- the traditional St. Patty's Day meal. Now I think I'm gonna make some this weekend.

not sure about baking, but i know u can steam it. it comes out sooooo good. yum.

It is unhealthy..but so good and comes in handy when you're poor. :-)

Spam musubi is da bomb!

One time when I bought a bunch of spam and the cashier STOPPED the spam from going through and said, "I'm sorry...but I have to ask you, what else can you make w/ spam?" *L* I just laughed and since I had canned pineapples, I told her that I was going to bake it w/ the pineapples.

So many things you can do w/ spam! Oh, and corn beef too. :)

Haven't gotten used to either.

Once found a corned beef sandwich in my school lunch and threw the whole thing away.

Later I learned that I took my dad's lunch and he was pissed that I would throw away good meat.
