how often do you cut? (this question is for the high schoolers. i already know you college kids don't go to class).
i actually missed close to my entire senior year in high school. but i did many worthwhile things during the times i was not in class. i explored the city. sat in on criminal trials at the oakland courthouse. visited cultural centers. etc. etc. i think i learned more from my outings than i did staying in school :)

I'm starting school tomorrow.
Freshman year: never cut.
Sophomore year: cut for the first time during second semester. the 2 classes i cut were both too boring for me. neither of them were compelling. my brain was rotting slowly so i had to do something about it. i took it into my own hands by going to the library instead of class.
-went to boarding school during the summer and enjoyed it lots. parents wanted me to go to boarding school for the rest of high school but i didn't end up going.
Junior year: switched to a private school not far from a starbuck's. cut a few times to sit at starbuck's to read the newspaper, and umm.. once, to go to the airport.

in most trimesters I would cut at least 15 classes (might not seem like a lot, but the school average was like 5/term). in frosh year it was just to sleep in, but later it was to do homework or go to starbucks.

from the title i thought kasia meant cutting yourself. and then the first sentence was "how often do you cut?". i was like  does she expect that everyone on YW cuts?

freshman through junior year, i never cut. i was occasionally late because my alarm didn't wake me up or whatever, but never on purpose.
senior year, i cut maybe 10 times the entire year. i would freak out and have panic attacks and not be able to go to school cause i was so stressed.

They implemented the 31 absence days maximum for seniors because of our graduating year! I was cutting a lot, as soon as I got into an acceptable college from my list, vroom I was out the school gates.
Most memorable days of my life, ahhhhh senioritis.

I never did. There was no place to go. And if you got caught, you were halled to the principles office for a good "yelling".

So did I.
I rarely cut in highschool. There was always something to do. I didn't particularly like the atmosphere but I knew I would be leaving soon and I knew the work I was doing in the sciences at the time was valuable. The times I did cut I always went down to the fine arts building and worked there. The instructor understood I think, he never said much. Did some murals and a lot of clay work, and lots and lots of photography that I used to go through.

i cut only twice in high school. the 2nd time was to grab a calculator i forgot at home for a test that afternoon. i got caught cuz i guess the guards watch for cars leaving or something and got 2 days of in-school suspension.
if that isn't the most lame ass reason for cutting school and getting caught i don't know what is. anyways, i didn't cut after that cuz in-school sucks ass.

Texas had some law in place where you would lose credit for the class if you attended less than 80 days a semester. So that allowed 8-10 cuts, exclusive of tardies. My school had a policy that three tardies counted as one absence.

Senior year doesn't count. Due to Senioritis, we cannot control our urge to cut.
I use to cut a lot in school because it was Oakland and I can get away with it.
i cut all the time in HS, i started in 7th grade and kept cutting all the way until i finished. at first it was just because i hated school and wanted to go fishing/hang out by the creek instead. later because my gf always wanted to go walk around and give me handjobs.

Skipped a lot in gr 10 and a little bit in gr 11.
Smoked bud and did other activities of the delinquent nature. Occasionally came to class high. Curiously still made the honor roll a few times.

I usually take a thermogenic containing caffiene/chocamine and other stimulants.
then I increase my protein output over carbs.. and lower cholesterol and fat...
Then i focus on cardio(swimming, martial arts) and bodyweight strength training.
I lose my fat but keep my lean muscle.

Wait til you get lazy. Those muscles will turn in to fat.
When I use to jog a lot, then got lazy, my boxers would get tighter and more uncomfortable.

We used to cut class, late in HS, to breakdance. Not the smartest way to make use of our time, considering how we'd do the same thing after school anyways.

I skipped class so much in HS it wasn't even funny, starting in 9th grade (freshman year) and by the time I was a senior, I didn't go to class. That's why I had to take a full load of classes right on up to graduation, and why I almost didn't graduate, because I skipped class so much they had no choice but to give me an F.
But somehow my decent/somewhat good grades from the first two years of hs, when I only skipped class periodically/occasionally, as opposed to on a daily basis like in 11th and 12th grades, allowed me to have a cumulative GPA that was high enough for me to be accepted into A&M and even UAB, plus my ACT scores were pretty good anyway, so yeah. I skipped class like hell in HS but I'm still in college. Lot of shit I don't know, but it's not like you see me in remedial classes.
I really shouldn't have skipped though.......................the only thing I did when I wasn't in class was get high, get drunk, rarely did I fuck....................smoked weed, drank, even popped pills. It wasn't the coolest shit to do.
But then again, since my school was downtown, it was easy as hell to skip. Just walk a block down the street, go inside a cafe/resturant and chill. Me and all my friends blended in easily. Sometimes drugs were not involved in our skipping. Sometimes we just wanted to leave. So we did. I remember one time, I left school around 10 AM to get my dick sucked at this popular spot on top of the mountain in Birmingham, it's a place where everybody go when they want to fuck outdoors, in a car, etc. It's kind of isolated, but everybody knows about it, plus there's endless little places you go to, everybody's got a favorite spot on top of the mountain.
Anyway, those were good times, skipping school. Turns out I didn't learn too much in HS anyway. I had a couple of good teachers and shit, but to be truthful with you, intellectually stimualting classes/discussions were few and far between. I've probably learned more in one semester up here in college than I did in any two or three years of HS, and by the end of this semester, will probably have learned more than I ever did in all four years of HS. Hell, I've probably learned more on YW than I did in high school. Plus all the shit that can't be learned in a classroom (life, love, etc).
High school kids - skip if you want to. Just don't do drugs (re: drugs, not weed) while you're skipping, that really fucked me up a couple of times in HS and it's something i regret.
