I was around HalfKorean.com got started. The man who started it, David Saunders, is a cool guy.

He looked online for people who said they were 1/2 Korean on their webpages and it grew from there into a huge online community.

just wondering
i've visited hapa/half asian mixed webpages. why are these pages focused so much on looks. there's always a gallary section and standard forum topic to tell how beautiful hapas are. and descriptions go on in detail. .25 korean .25 german .125 irish .125 dutch .25 french etc etc etc. what is the main concern in being mixed other than looks. most topics are wineing about not be accepted in either group and how they feel left out. whatever happened to being your own individual.

wow, it's actually been like a year since I left huh ... from around march until august of last year I was too busy with other stuff (like, a life. my first months of being single in a while, actually. it was hard getting used to it so I went out and drank a lot more with the guys, didn't study, didn't wanna go on the computer cuz my ex sent me nasty emails and IMs, so as a result I never spent any time in front of a computer). When I eventually calmed down, came back to school and back to sitting in front of a computer a lot, I realized how much trouble I had getting back into the flow of new discussions at Goldsea, mostly cuz of the antiquated forums system.

So I gave up trying. But then the once-a-day updates did provide an effective method to limit the amount of time I spent. Now that I'm here, there's no limit at all.

Sometimes I wonder what happened to all the other posters. Especially AC Dropout.
