Mad props AB great job man and moderators. <salute> <wipes tear from eye>

I think eventual specialization of sections into sub-sections or the branching off from main sections into sub sections is a good indicator. BIG UPS!

We need a legal section for the plethora of lawyers on this forum. You know for those with legal questions, issues and <cough><cough> problems.

<ass kissing off>

Actually, I had tossed suggesting the idea of a community advice forum. We have not only lawyers, but others from a wide variety of backgrounds. I can advise a bit on U.S. Customs.

My vote would be professional advice. With major, major disclaimers.

Let's retool the Business & Careers forum then, because it's pretty much related.

We have faith in you, AB

I will gladly help out moderating the medical section if ayers agrees to come aboard. It's just too broad to cover by oneself. I am hoping Janet might wanna come on board too, if this comes to fruition. I know jack about psychology.

And maybe add another section under business and careers for networking purposes or something. You know the economy kinda sucks and every little bit of help counts.

Well, if we can't find a shrink/psych major to cover our asses, we can all just pitch in.

sure, I'm usually reading the boards even if I'm too busy to post... If ppl are asking specific questions I'd be more than happy to respond and point ppl to resources where they can find more info on medical related issues.

Mr. HH won't join directly but agreed to answer MBA/int'l biz, or tech industry questions if I shuttle q's over to him by email. Additionally, we can pitch in some networking for qualified folks w/serious inquiries. Not trying to act like I'm weeding people out but if arranged for a meeting or forwarded a resume onto someone it would have to be a real deal.

Oh, for goodness' sake, you guys know what I mean.

i don't think any lawyers on the board right now will be giving out any legal advice. once we start doing that, the attorney-client relationship will be automatically formed forcing us to be liable for a whole crapload of stuff.

maybe the anonymous lawyers can give advice...

Yeah I'm down with answering general medical questions. But, I'm not gonna answer the ones relating to sensitive issues or ones I don't feel right answering. I'll just point ya in the right direction.

General questions no problem, but specifics, I'd rather you consult your own physician.
