You know I was almost in an A6 or 300 series BMW when I found the exact 9-3 of my dreams at the right price. I love it! I love it! I love it!
Had to get an automatic though :( Mr. HH can't drive a stick. Anyhoo, I've been playing around with the turbo in 3rd and Drive with and without the Sport mode. How the hell does it haul so well as an automatic? I was sad about the turbo/auto thing, but I'm pretty impressed. Why doesn't it suck like I thought it would? And how do I maximize it? Keep it in Drive and use Sport?
And my stereo. I have the standard stereo CD player for a 9-3 SE with all the options but the BASE! I've turned it volume way up until the car is shaking but the speakers are just fine.
Is it wrong to love my car this much?

well since ur car is turbo i recomend asking them put in mobile 1 fully synthetic oil into the car. The turbo will wear after time if u dont do a few simple things.
1. change oil often! the turbo is more sensitive then ur motor to particulates. 3k miles is pretty much safe limit of dino oil so be forwarned
2.Time down your car after aggressive or hard driving let motor idle 1-2 minutes and after normal driving let it idle for 30-45 seconds to let the oil cool down ur turbocharger.
3. synthetic oil helps problem #1 but not problem # 2 heat is ur enemy.
Stereo maybe its a lil better then the crapola ones from ur common honda/ toyota!

The man can't drive a stick. He won't let me teach him to drive one either. That's okay. If that's one of his worse faults, I'll deal.
No, if I got an Audi, I want a TT. There is no reasoning, there just is.
The price of a fully loaded 9-3 SEranges from high 20s to near 40s depending on how you cut a deal. I got mine for $26,600 put down about 10k and financed the rest. Financed a little too high but I wanted to stick to a credit union. 6 %. No penalty for prepayment which is cool.

6% is considered very good, if not excellent.
so whats the monthly come out to? (I hate paying high insurance on new cars)
what does mr. HH drive?

Mr. HH drives the old SAAB. The payments are in the $500/mo neighborhood.

any complaints on the car yet?
I slowly found a few on mine after driving it for a week, but most come from the dumb wheel/tire option.
I'll explain: I've learned that there is a sacrifice in opting for the "bigger" wheel, in other words, you pay the price for having more"bling bling!" Not only is it more costly, but the ride suffers and the car is more susceptible to road bumps and pot hole etc. 18" wheels are nice but if you want ride comfort go to 17" diameter max.
Okay I'm ranting on my problems now when this should be a new topic :P
even though I may bitch about the rough ride and harsh ride, if I had the money I would still go bigger and get 19" rims. I guess I just like to floss my ride around...is there anything wrong with that ;)
