I guess I talk enough. I tend to talk lots, but I don't go endlessly rambling on and on while the person keeps trying to squeeze their words in. All my friend and I always have lots to say. And I like to strike up conversations with random people, and sometimes even the quiet ones talk lots.

im the same way but only if i feel the people are ones that are worth getting to know on my time. if theyre...say...classmates put in a group with me on a project i feel no need to chat em up

I talk fast and I talk a lot. I also laugh a lot to the point where if you don't know me well you start tripping out because you don't really know what I'm laughing at.

I try not to talk a lot about myself b/c I don't like to establish this "status" I have in society as a way of saying I'm either better or worse off than you, so to speak. I'm very particular to behavior. Especially with schooling,work, and activities, I usually leave it up to the person who's interested in me to ask me questions about my life as opposed to bombarding them with a resume of myself. Likewise, I ask a lot of questions about other people because I'm like an information magnet...I love to learn about people and the way they think.... I wonder if that's why I'm interested in psychology? ya think? Of course, if my date or potential love-of-interest starts to talk excessively about all the titles he's obtained or the awards he's received, then I have a tendency to think that he's not interested in what I do and that he's establishing a status before giving me a chance to know him on the inside out. When they don't make the effort to learn about me, it annoys me. Actually, then I'd feel like I'm competing with him. :rolleyes:

me, too. only people start tripping out because i start hiccupping when i laugh too hard... :unsure:

A girl that I dated talked like mad. 10 minutes into the phone conversation and I'd be saying "uh hunh.... zzzzzzzzzz.... uh hunh.... zzzzz.... yeah.... zzzz .... wow...zzzzzzzz.... oh my goodness" and that would continue for another 50 minutes at least. :lol:

I learned my lesson from that experience.
