When studying for an exam or just in general, what works best for you personally???
Any memorization tips? :D

i find that it works best if i dont review too much. strange, i know, but if i study too hard the information seems to stay in my head a lot less longer. then again, i have horrible study habits. i rarely study and if i do its never the only task im focused on -- ill be listening to music or lying on my back watching tv, talking on the phone...etc.

its best to do your reading assignments on time. So when you go to class you know what the hell ppl are talking about in the first place. And than after class.. i think it best to re do all your notes.. so it looks more organized... and just review... what had gone on that day... I think all of this helps with memorization when it comes to actually studying for the actual tests being given out...
But like what always works best for me is study groups. I've always done better studying with a group than just merely by myself...

Although I don't always do this, but it works well for me if I separate a huge task into increments of 2 or 3 (depending on how much time I have). For instance, if I have a lot of pages to read in one subject, I split my reading into two separate days. There's nothing more boring than reading one subject for endless amounts of time! As for exams, I like to make flash cards and quiz myself. I do a lot of reflection and reviewing. Of course I've crammed before on an exam. In that case, I would just lay my head on an open book and hope to osmosify the material into my cog.

My method: don't study and pass with 80's or even 90's.
