it may be the bay area people on the board. overall, though, i grew up in the bay and most people around me seemed pretty apathetic.

I don't keep track of who on the board is from where, so my observation wasn't based on that, but rather the few times I've been there or have hung out with Bay Area folks.

I'm fairly diplomatic when I write, but in person I'm pretty irreverent and not very politically incorrect. At times, I can be darn rude. Most people adjust to that, but with Bay Area folks I find myself having to apologize for almost every other comment I make.

Like I said, just an observation.

We will be in conference and seminars the mornings thru the late afternoons from 9/23-9/26. Figure, me and friends explore and acclimate 9/21 and 9/22.

We might be also be making a trip to Palos Altos, no idea how far it is, but if it's too far forget it. My cousin's husband's sister goes to Stanford and we have to drop of some assorted Korean goodies and some bugolgi grill thingy.

yeah we make sure you "behave" CSB LOL heheheh There willno earthquakes in San Francisco since the big one in 89. So don't jinx us hehehe. Palo Alto is about a 40 min drive. I know how to get to Stanford so don't worry about it.
