I can appreciate a phat ride. But I wouldn't say I feel more powerful in it. You get a reality check when some old lady totals your car. My po' Ac :(

i feel more confident driving my own car.
than another car, regardless if it's the same model car.
I just went from a 94 Taurus to a 03 Protege5. No, but it is yellow

I think everyone imparts a little of their personality to their cars, stickers, fuzzy dice, tints etc. I love my ride and I think I've added a little personal flavor (I don't mean the time I christened the back seat), but I don't think what I drive is a reflection of my character. Maybe more a reflection of my wallet?

>> bigger the wing & kit & exhaust; smaller the penis... puahaha...
I love my car. I feel much more comfortable and confident driving my car versus when driving another car (say, for example, some p.o.s. Pontiac rental car or even my dad's car). But do I feel most "powerful" or "secure" while driving it (versus any other time)? Not really. It's just a friggin' car.

I think it's a guy thing, but yeah when I'm driving a car, especially a souped up one (that Protege5 LT25 mentioned doesn't sound half bad =) ) it makes me feel powerful.
Especially when I'm changing gears! snick snick zoooooooooom!!!!!!!! Ohhh yeah that's a good feeling right there.

I am not my car...anyone who defines one's self through his/her car is lacks true character...Moreover, anyone judging someone through their car is pretty shallow. <_<
Enjoying the sensation that you're in control of something powerful(your car) is something else I think....

girls are cars, i can compare any girl to sum sort of car and engine combonation. we used to do this in college.
Girl = Model year, model, trim, engine/modifications, condition.
best example" dam she looks like a 95 civic Dx hatch, a dime a dozen, and not the best model, motor also has to pull alot of her weight."

Hey now, don't go insulting my ride.
Actually, I don't care...I insult it all the time.
My car's more a reflection of m finances than my personality...but perhaps the fact that I still drive that car after all these years reflects on my avoidance of non-educational debt or perhaps how low on the totem pole I place the looks of my car.

The only thing that I feel in my car is the need for speed. ;) Which isn't a good thing, after many speeding tickets within the 6 1/2 month period. Darn cops got me broke from hiring lawyers for my cases. ;)
