Ebay as a business

Yippee, I've just created my first item to sell on ebay -

I know it's pretty lame, but this was my first time ever selling anything on ebay, so it's as much to sell this as it is to get the hang of selling online.

I know a ton of people who make pretty good extra income by selling stuff on ebay, one of my friends sells toys (especially Star Wars figures) and another by selling vintage cameras. It seems pretty competitive, has anyone else out there had any success with ebaying? What are some of the items you've sold, and which of those did you make a killing on?

EBaying used to be worth the effort, but too many ppl are doing it and makes it tough. And consumers are getting a little bit more savvy, so charging MSRP no longer cuts it ... driving profits down even more. And shipping is pain in the ass in general ... and following up to ensure the package arrived, etc etc. PITA !

hmm never thought about that. in general though, keeping track of any cards, game or sports is a pain isnt it? i got a buncha baseball cards i wanna sell but i duno what is worth what and such

i heard if u look up mispellings of stuff u can get great deals cuz they are more obscure
