i'm looking at my office and i just realised how lived in it is. i keep a lot of personal things at the office, i've got a toothbrush, face towel, mini toiletries set, a selection of makeup. i've got about 5 pairs of shoes here and a spare dress, 2 suit jackets. a selection of scarves and shawls.
when i was still sitting in a cubicle i'd still have spare shoes, like i walk around the office in comfy shoes, but always have heels around. and a suit jacket or two that i'd always leave at the office.
what sorta stuff do you keep at the workplace?

I don't have much.. but a few cool things. I've got a sticky-pic of me and my gf as well as a card she gave me once, I also have a authentic Russian Stolitchnya (sp? Idunno the english 'cuz mine is in Russian) t-shirt draped over my chair that our Russian consultant got me. Also, over in the corner of our "Research Pit" we have a small shrine dedicated to the University of Wisconsin- Madison which consists of a Ron Dayne towel and one of my UW license plates, since two of us that work here are from UW-Madison.
Oh yeah and I always have an emergency bottle of LA Looks X-treme hold and a thing of Aqua di Gio deoderant for those times I sleep through my alarm and don't have time to shower...

Almost nothing. I've only been there a month. There's three reference books, and a box of clothes I had sent to the office from overseas and have been too lazy to take home.

I just realized...same for me. Zip. A TON of work crap scattered everywhere...and I've been here since September. Hmmm...probably because I'm nothing more than a lifeless zombie shell...

I have...um...just a Minna No Tabo spoon/fork/chopstick set, missing one spoon. Oh, and a couple sets of Mensa mind bender cards. Two little drink monkeys. Some CDs. A jar of hand lotion (I think I'll throw it away, though). My "I'm having a Maalox moment!" mug. A travel mug growing some really disgusting slime in it (I can't bring myself to throw this mug away, it was a gift from my boss). Vaseline.

Snacks, purrell sanitizer gel (this stuff is great), an extra pair of underwear and socks, a towel, my workout gear (we have a gym downstairs), toiletries, a spare set of contacts in case I lose one or it rips. I'm gonna put some pictures up too, when I get some nice ones.

My green Buddha.
Pics of the fam.
Extra dress shoes and a rain jacket.
Toothbrush, toothpaste, fingernail clippers, peeler.
I've got a personalized little metal bucket that says "Happy Valentine's Day" on one side and "Love you!" on the other that I got from my girlfriend (formerly filled with Reese's peanut butter hearts), a bobble-topped Mayor from Nightmare Before Christmas, an orange, bobble-headed cartoony cat with a toothy smile (it's supposed to be a frame, but I just drew teeth in its mouth instead of putting a picture there), a Doraemon alligator clip "frame" with a polaroid of my girl, a piece of artwork done by my brother called "Shock & Awe," a baby Cookie Monster beanie dressed as cupid, a Baja Fresh plastic cup, and my diplomas and state bar certificate.
And tampons and vaseline. Just kidding.

Also nothing. I can't stand having my business life intersect with my personal life.

I worked at my old job for nearly 2.5 years. I never put anything personal in there. If I were to leave right now, it would only take me 10 seconds to grab my lunchbag, 30 seconds to delete my stuffs in my computer, 10 seconds to take my copies of my timecards, and 10 seconds to take my CD container.
I believe in what Iris say: business life should not intersect with personal life, unless it's necessary (ie tampons and such if you work long hours)

A large stash of good dark chocolate, condiments, bookmarks (the browser kind), mints loaded with caffeine, cel phone charger, a bunch of menus from places close by, headphones, nail clipper, anti-glare lens cleaner (works great on monitors).

I have a lot of pictures of Ali Landry in my cube, a few of them autographed. There are also a few love letters from me to her that were returned. She is practically my family.
