View Full Version : One Love
I originally did this image as a project for 2D design.
Our only restriction was that we had to utilize earth tones in the composition.
With that in mind my goal was to create an image that is a celebration of some of the aspects of femininity (from my perspective anyway).
Strength, Nurturing, loving, birth. All of which are qualities I ascribe to the earth as well.

Awesome man...
the photo took awhile to download.. but it was worth the wait tho. How was this done?? did you sketch this image out first??... and than apply it to being part of your digital design??
anyways, it kinda reminds me of a stain glass window type of image...

Thanks :D

Oops...
sorry I am used to posting to graphics forums.
I changed the image to a thumnail for low bandwith users like us :).
karizma:
I did a lot of the individual elements in Adobe illustrator & The human figures came from a 3D program called poser.
I took all the individual bits into Photoshop put them all onto there own layers and added color.
Simple gradients mostly then fiddled with the blend modes to get the bits that intersected to blend in a nice way.
The images was made to print to 17x14 inch paper so the original image looks way better but at 23 megabite filesize it is kinda huge.
I dont normaly do high concept stuff.
Mostly sticking to sci fi stuff.
But I am really happy at how this turned out.
princess:
Thanks :P

>> ahhh you mind teaching me a few tricks? maybe a few tutorials lol.

Give me some idea about what you are going for and i will see what i can come up with.
i cant promase it will be awesome but i would like to give it a shot :D
I had a martix-ish idea of having YellowWorld spellout in several diffrent languages in the background as the falling matrix code and in english front and center it would say YellowWorld like the main matrix title
(is it obvious i am really into the matrix?)
