in undergrad, i wrote a senior thesis titled, "morality as solely of aesthetic value".
now i get to write a dissertation for law school--i just had my topic approved today. i get to write about whether the laser eye thingys in minority report are a "search" within the meaning of the fourth amendment and thus an invasion of our privacy absent any reasonable suspicion, etc. i'm kinda excited.
can anyone think of a cool title for the paper?
please share what you have written on.

It wasn't fun writing it, we didn't have to write one unless you were in the MD/Ph. D program. I just wrote it to beef up my CV, since I was involved in cancer research in med school. Hehe never had to defend it, since I was a lowly student in the MD program not the MD/Ph.D program. So no one took me seriously haha.
Yeah it was interesting since the emergence of the Stat3 protein was discovered (Stat3 essentially the cancer gene) when I was writing it.
Johnny: Dissertation is a lengthy subject of research that you write, especially for those pursuing a graduate doctorate degree, like those trying to get a Ph.D, didn't know J.D.'s had to write one too. Then ultimately you will have to defend your dissertation to a board to get your degree.
