club x was at the same place as city nights... i like the way the inside looks. i've been to limelight before, but not for 18+ club nights.

There's a limelight out in Cali, too?
Wonder if it's owned by the same person. I think ours (one in NY) shut down due to charges of sale and distribution of X.

awww no! not the foam party!!! yeesh! i went to the first foam party they had and it wasn't all that great. it was this little like 10x10 ft square of plastic w/soapy water in it...

the coolest foam party i went to was called savage island... it was in september i think at the bill graham auditorium. one of the side rooms was completely filled w/foam up to my waist! and it was the GOOD foam too! the soft REALLY thick kind! ooo man that was soooooooooooooo tight!

and NYC clubs don't compare to Ibiza clubs
Ibiza is THE club haven (May to September only though) - see the thread about sleep deprivation about the clubbing you can do there. Minimum age there is 16. And the foam party at Amnesia... short people should beware. Even the stage is not safe.

actually, NYC is great
but it's been better when there was Twilo, Tunnel, Limelight, Palladium, Body & Soul... (I sure wish I had a chance to catch the last two; I better catch the Monday night Tronic Treatment party before that goes away!)

Anyone wanna come here to try partying from 6 pm to 7 am... on a Thursday night ?
There's a Tuesday night event at a small club, which when Satoshi Tomie is spinning, sometimes goes til 5:30 am.
Every night of the week, there's something going on.

Maybe fewer options for those under 21, but it seems like still enough, at least on Friday nights.
For those under 18, every once in a while there's teen (or no-ID) night at Exit!

Certainly on Fridays... I like the space and lights... there's also sometimes something like 7 different rooms to choose from, each with its own DJ's. The main floor DJ (Tony Draper) isn't so great, but he does have a following.
Some people complain that there are too many asians there, others say there are too many guidos and juiced-up guys who dance shirtless. Also it seems to be a popular post-prom spot during that time of year.
Beware that you might get molested by security when you enter. :D
Saturdays might be 21+. The crowd becomes gay at around 6 am for afterhours, when the legendary Junior Vasquez takes to the decks. He usually takes the party to 3 pm, sometimes as late as 8 pm.

Roxy is also good and 18+ on Fridays. And it looks like they're starting to bring in guest DJ's again. Tiesto, Sasha, PVD are all coming in October. It'll cost a pretty penny to see each of them though.

i haven't seen danny tenaglia spin, but he was here on new year's at 1015 folsom. reviews of that set were crazy. i think he spun for something like 10 hours?? wow... not a big tenaglia fan, cause i've never really heard his stuff, but that would be a sight to see.

I should add that Exit has a snow machine - actually it sprinkles bubbles onto the floor from way high above, but I think it's cool
Maybe I need to get out to more places, but I haven't seen anywhere else that has that, not even in Ibiza.
