Grad school sucks.
Work sucks.
But if you really hate school, you can't escape it. If you hate work, you can look forward to your time outside of the office. If you hate school, you pretty much hate your life as long as you're a student.
So I think grad school sucks more. The fact that you're around a lot more people your own age is highly overrated, especially when they're all completely unbearable.
Sometimes I pray for fire.

What about those of us who at stuck working at a school ?
I don't hate school or work so much, but am not too fond of going to school while I'm working fulltime. However, I prefer the prospect of having better opportunities in the future over the additional workload of today. My time outside of the 'office' is heavily spent doing my schoolwork for graduate school.
If you hate your school, perhaps you are stuck in the wrong major or the wrong school. If you hate your work, that should be incentive to try to do something to get into a position you like better.

I meant to insert a question:
Do you agree with my analysis?
Stupid edit function.

Nope. I don't
I have no problems with school or work. Both of them are treating really well. It all about how you precieve things VB. Negavity brings on more negavity.

If you hate grad school so much, you should keep in mind (if you are going fulltime) that it will be over in 2 years (or so). The work environment in most majors will be significantly different than the academic environment. You are sacrificing the present for a better future.
Maybe the issue is that you might not fit into the 'law school/lawyer' culture ?

i'm usually tired as fuck when i'm at school, but i'm glad i'm a student. i study all day and all night and work part time. i'm pretty thankful that i get the chance to just study as opposed to actually working. i think i can wait another year or two. :D but i feel you vb, some days i don't feel like doing anything.
edit: what happened to your "AB is going to ban me" avatar title, i liked that one better.

I enjoy school more than work. I think that's because when I was in the work force the nature of my job gave me an overexposure to cruddy people who would rather send you off to do nonsensical work than admit that they don't know what the hell was going on.

I am in school now doing my concepts in federal taxation homework. So much fun reading the 500 pg book and here right on my lap is the answer sheet binder (5 inches thick). Doing homework for the class one week in advance in order to finish it on time so far 6pgs typed and only about 70% done.
