Dragon's Lair, Space Ace, Time Traveler.....even though they were nothing but constant loops of animation that changed when you pushed the joystick in the right direction, they were still cool in that you thought you were controlling the cartoon. Anybody else remember these games?

Vaguely. I also remember the time when full motion video was the "in" thing for PC games. Anyone remember the 7th Guest and the 11th Hour?

I was only 5 when they came out, but I used to whine to my mom for quarters to play these things constantly, even if I did die on the first try.

I'm willing to bet no one ever ever finished the arcade version of Dragon's Lair ... even the non-laser disc home version (what machine? C64? Amiga?) was totally unplayable.
