We are currently looking for people who would like to be

Please pass on this information to anyone who might be interested.

All CRS will part take in a mandatory training in conflict resolution
skills before officially starting their internship and working on

The training is free for APADRC volunteers and interns.
The Winter 2004 training schedule is for January 24, 25, 31, and

February 2.

Some of the work duties include: conducting in-take calls,

usually split in three day increments of five hours each
for a total of 16 weeks.
Each CRS is also required to attend at least one outreach event

Also enclosed is an attachment of the fall training and

i've referred many people to the asian dispute resolution center. i've found that a lot of asian people are reluctant to enter into lawsuits of just hate confrontation. the dispute resolution center gives them a forum to talk over their differences in the presence of specialists who are often bilingual and bicultural without having to go through the formalities of our oft-intimidating and foreign justice system.

if you're interested in law or social work, i'd highly recommend applying for this job. you can do help out members of the asian community as well as gain mediating skills :)
