I still prefer George Romero's original, but this trailer is cut pretty nicely...looks like everything Resident Evil should have been.

Zombies and zombie movies scare the hell out of me. I may have to go see this one. I've only seen the beginning of the original, but it gave me the creeps.

What happened to the rice cracker that could take down a dozen zombies in one fell swoop?

That trailer looks pretty cool...(I'm actually a big fan of the original)...
Did anyone see 28 Days Later? (I thought it was pretty cool...and realistic...which I hope DOTD(the remake) will be).
Speaking of horror remakes, I still need to catch Texas Chainsaw Massacre to see how bad it is compared to the original (or if it turns out to be passable entertainment).
28 Days Later rocked! Well, IMO anyway. I did think it was easily believable (well, other than how stupid the main character was. "HALLOOOOOO? ARE YOU A ZOMBIE? HALLOOOO.") They weren't like, zombie zombies, they were in a zombie like state due to a virus. And I really liked how they showed just how ugly people can be during a crisis and how survival mode kicks in. A very tense movie.
I'm scared of TCM. I liked the original (though I haven't yet seen the sequals) and all the reviews I've read of it have been just terrible and very off putting.

Anybody catch the first 10 minutes of the movie they showed on USA after Final Destination about a half hour ago? The only thing I don't like is how normal the zombies move...they're fast as hell. They should be shufflling around, in my opinion. Though that little zombie girl staring at the girl and her boyfriend in bed at 6:37 in the morning....that had me all up under the covers. Those first 10 should be online pretty soon.

Actually, for Night of the Living Dead and the Dawn of the Dead movies, people turn into zombies due to a virus. Just a little bit of knowledge that I wanted to share.
The remake of Dawn of the Dead looks like a total rip off, of 28 Days Later. It's almost like someone watched that movie and said, "This is what people want to see. Let's find an excuse to make one."

Actula 28 days was ment as a homage to the Dead series. There are a couple of scenes in 28 days that they "borrowed" from the original DOD and some other zombie movies.
