Am i the only one that doesn't seem to give a crap about this? To put it in perspective, the O'Jays broke up the other day as well, and THAT'S a group worthy to be upset about a breakup.
yeah, i heard about B2K two days ago. where have YOU been?
but seriously, i'm not a fan, so it didn't make a dent in my day. i heard the lead singer Omarion (kid brother of Immature's lead singer who was on Sister Sister) talk about it when he called up the local radio station. it just sounds like these kids are still so young (18, 19), and with the wealth that they've amassed already, they're gettin' kinda greedy. and all of them wanting to hog the spotlight. so they're all going solo.

My brother called it a while ago.
He said he saw them in a store and they keep calling their manager to ask if they could buy the smallest stuff.
He asked one of them something like if you work so hard, aren't you asking for permission to use your own money?
They smiled, but my brother came home saying that the kids are getting gypped.
I kept saying, no, maybe that's how things are.
The guys were on BET yesterday saying they haven't received 1% of a penny for the last concerts they were in. Their concerts sold well, too.
It's sad.
I've seen them on BET before. They really looked bad this last time.
^ so they're splitting up because of management? is management jipping some members and not others? :frown: dude didn't mention it in that radio interview i heard. i know that their manager is now going to continue managing Omarion's career. have you seen Omarion's house on MTV cribs? wowza, he didn't look like he was strapped for cash there. i wonder if he's getting the chunk of whatever money is actually going to them.
on a related note. little Aaron Carter is sueing his mother for taking his money.

Omarion is still with the company and is releasing something soon.
The other guys didn't say they were strapped yesterday. My brother said they were acting strapped, as if they didn't have control over what was theirs.
The guys said that they haven't received all of the money due to them and gave examples of stuff they haven't even been paid for.
They blamed management.

Yes it's sad but true. That's another reason why there have been so many talented artists who came out with a monster hit and poof * vanished after that. They got so ripped off the first time around that they do not want to be victimized again.

Isn't their manager that guy's cousin or something? Omarion?
Who knows, but I DO know one thing, Omarion is the lead singer and the other 3 are just the backups. It could be one of THOSE things, basically a mutiny.

C'mon, B2K really didn't deserve a comparison to N'Sync.
