Paying for air??!!!

yeah, i had to put air in my tire
for my first time the other day...
and is this like a regular standard thing...
i mean, it was AIR that i had to pay for??!!!

You're paying for the electricity to run the air compressor that pumps the air into your tires. =)

well, you should really get one of those portable air compressors anyway, that run off of 12v. just in case you run a flat, and your spares low on air...

in california, if you buy gas, you get air for free. it's law. i dunno about your state. just ask the clerk for a token (need proof of purchase)

U had to pay!? OMG...that's just messed...damn, I've never had to pay...I've also got a portable compressor that I can plug in my cig lighter...it's awesome

Around here, most of the Chevron stations charge 25 cents for air (but maybe free w/ purchase of gas). All the Valero stations have free air!

They only charge non patrons.

but EVERYONE who buys gas is entitled to free air and water in california. You just have to be a little less lazy and tell the cashier to get you a token.

I think it's okay that they charge for the air.
But here it's fifty cents
And that makes no sense.

Well it's that or a manual pump and I don't think that would be fun. The other option would be to blow in it, yourself. I don't think that would be fun, either.
