OK, let me picture it for you- our school is like maybe 90% black. A few white kids. One of them is in my English class, she's one of two white people who take that particular class, there's one Mexican girl, and everybody else is black. OK, anyway, the thing is our teacher (who is black) is real *ahem* how shall we say, GHETTO. Actually I like her, I think she's cool and everything, but she definitely does not act like your typical white Englsih teacher (one English teacher up here, who is white, thinks she's a fat, hairy bitch but that's a whole nother story). The point is, that one white girl in my English class hates her because of that, actually I was talking to her, she was like, "I just hate it here. She's so ghetto, this school is ghetto, I don't fit in with this whole hip-hop culture, black people's vocabulary aren't as good as white people's"............blah blah. Fine. Whatever. Then I tell her, "so I guess you'd be happier at a white school." And she's like, "well no I've been going to inner city schools my whole life, so I don't think I'd fit in with those airheads in the suburban schools either. My life sucks, what's the point of existence?" Well, this other girl (black girl) was in the conversation too and she was like, "well you know, there's God" and the thing is, I thought this white girl was a Christian, cause she said so. But then she was like, "well then you get into the whole argument about God versus science and whether he really exists".
