Incidently that sword is called the Soul Calibur...or was it the Soul Edge?. Either way, how he got it is a long story, but that sword is really big and grotesque in a cool with a huge eyball in the middle of the blade on the sides and flesh running along the metal.

just do what you find interesting, your just wasting your time and money if your studying something because your parents want you too. Trust me I learned that the hard way.

This happened last week. I got on the BART (subway), and being utterly exhausted and not really caring, I went to sleep on my 40 minute commute back home after midterms. Was a long week, and didn't have much sleep. I was awoken by a weight on my lap that was somewhat uncomfortable (turned out that was cuz my gonads were screaming in protest with weight being pressed upon them). I opened my eyes to see the world blurry because someone had taken off my glasses.

When I seized my glasses from the offending blur that had snatched them from me, I threw them on my face to examine who or what had decided to occupy the space my backpack had previously taken on my lap. The blur turned out to be one of the cutest brown haired, blue eyed girl I'd seen in a long time. Her bangs came over her forehead some and almost over her eyes, but not quite, hiding her laughing eyes from me from time to time, but for the most part she seemed content to be sitting in front of, and on me. She was all smiles as I sat there in a stupor while she played with my hair and cooed softly in my ear, then giggled. When it was finally her stop to go, she reluctantly got off my lap and said goodbye to me and smiled and waved as the subway door closed and the train started to move. I just sat there with a goofy grin on my face and a warm fuzzy feeling in my chest. I even got the phone number to her house. Twas a good day. -grins-


Now for a snap of reality. Meghan is a two year old lil girl. Hahaha. :biggrin: I first met her through my first year of commuting to school on the same train I saw her on Friday. Her mom often visited her sister in Fremont, and used BART. One day while her mom was talking to a friend, I, the unsuspecting napping student, woke with a squirming bundle of giggles on my lap. Since then, there've been more than a few run ins, and conversations with Meghan's mom and a whole lot of playing with the lil cutey. The great thing is she's been learning to talk and such, and so when she said goodbye this time, she said my name. It was great. :biggrin:

I was walking by the cathedral on the way back to the college this evening when suddenly I heard a crash behind me. I turned around and saw that a piece of stone had fallen from the scaffolds above (where restoration work was being done on the building.) Had I walked slower I would've been killed.

P.S. The city of Durham might be cursed. Three students have died since October and another was seriously injured after being pinned to a building by a car. This is the fourth time I've cheated Death in the UK! Almost was hit by a bus on two occasions, by a car on one, and now this stone bit. Either I'm lucky or someone wants me alive! :biggrin:
