Okay, so it's 9:00am and I'm heading back to the office after some hard morning field work.
As I change lanes, I feel the omnious feeling of the hard thump when I hit one of those little lane reflectors.... *weird.. my tire shouldn't smack it that hard* Thump again! okay, so i'm 3 miles from work, I can make it! i can make it!!!!! thump thump thump. what the hell is that noise? What the hell is that smell? there's smoke coming from my car! :huh:
MY fucking tire blew out. shit! :angry:
So now my tire looks perfect from the front side.. but when you flip it over and check out the inner side.... there's a ring of empty space.... dOh!
and the lip is slightly dented! I hope it'll still mount the tire.... good thing I have road hazard on these babies.
moral of the story: always keep your tires filled up to the specified PSI.
