What’s your favorite brand of bottled water? Evian? Crystal Geyser? Alhambra? Dasani? Another brand? Can you taste the difference between expensive water and the cheap stuff? What’ve you got? Mother buys Crystal Geyser for home, at Costco. I buy Evian. (Bf likes Evian. I drink it because it reminds me of him.) Grandma’s house has an Alhambra water system thing. And yes, I can taste the difference.

For example: Crystal Geyser water tastes different from Evian. It’s a bit sweeter. Evian has a dryer taste.

I drink Poland Springs, that's what they have here at the hospital. And, I cant taste the difference between different bottled waters. My taste buds suck.

Evian is always my first choice but I rarely drink it. I have this huge filtering unit built into my kitchen sink. Does a great job. For road trips and whatnot I'll buy any cheap bottled water. I'm still pissed about having to spend about four dollars for a dinky glass of water in France.

What I like about Evian is that is doesn't have a taste (to me).

Bottled water is the biggest scam.

I drink Fuji if I hafta drink bottled. It doesn't really make a difference, I'll drink whatever... as long as it's not reclaimed. But Fuji bottles are really cute. =)

Right now I have Arrowhead water delivered to my house - I still swear that Sparkletts (or Alhambra or whatever McKesson brand) was more refreshing to me for some bizarre reason (I think maybe they, among others, add stuff to the water for taste), but I don't like the principle of being charged a fee regardless of whether I take delivery of bottles.

For little bottles, I'm partial to Aquafina - I think b/c of the purity thing & b/c I think it's a little cheaper than some of the others?? When I had Evian for the first time as a kid, I decided that it tasted a little bit like white pepper to me....I was a strange kid.

Use Brita-filtered water for cooking but can't bring myself to drink it straight. I know it's all in my head :P Probably I can't really tell any difference - usually as long as I can't taste the chlorine, I'm happy.

I have Multipure filter. Hmm... anybody notice that if you read Evian backwards, it spells "naive?" Ain't that intriguing.

Heh. When me and some other people had lunch together, there was a pitcher of milk on the table for us. The guy poured some into his cup, and then it went "blup" and this brownish thing floated to the top. It freaked him out, but it was probably just a cookie. Still kinda gross.

If you drink lots of water, just get a filter for the faucet unless you like to spend lots of money just to recycle little bottles or like lugging big gallon jars to and from the market. There are so many types; $40 ones you attach to the faucet or $300-$1000 you have attached to the bottom of the sink that lasts 5yrs or more or something. You can still boil the filtered water to kill germs if that's your cup of tea. This may sound cheap, but I always bring bottled water to the movie theater to save money since everyone drinks water. Bottled water for my honey and bottled soda for me. When I feel like popcorn I buy some but not every time, since I got the moviewatcher card (http://www.moviewatcher.com) and get free food or cheap food sometimes.

We have the under the sink kind. Bottled water is more convenient. Rather than filling up a water bottle (for the gym) or getting a cup and later, having to wash it, you can just grab a bottle out of the fridge. Plus, I think already bottled water tastes better. But I'm sure that's all in my head.
