Calling all media with Asians!!!!

Hi, I'm doing research in social psychology with a professor at my university on how non-Asians (e.g. caucasians and blacks) perceive Asians/Asian Americans via the media (e.g. TV shows, cartoons, and Hollywood films/movies).

As part of my research, I need a list of films/cartoons or characters with positive or negative stereotypes. I personally can't think of a lot of shows, movies, or characters portraying Asians in a positive light, but if you do know, please let me know. I'm assuming that I'll get a larger list of films/cartoons/characters with positive and negative stereotypes as opposed to films with no stereotypes (or positive image) of Asian/Asian Americans. I need a huge list folks. So, post away! =)

actually there are plenty you can list. i suggest you go to www.imdb.com (http://www.imdb.com). they list productions that different people have been in. so just check out the stuff that asian actors, directors, etc, have been involved in.

you want productions that are either American productions or that cater to American audience, right? because if not, you might mention the interest in HK films.

Thanks for your insight. I'll check out the sites you suggested. Yes, I'm thinking of movies that cater to the American audience in general. I'll leave the HK movies aside for now. =)

forgot to mention another cartoon, Sagwa The Chinese Siamese Cat. it's pretty cool. they'll show this little segment in the middle on something about Chinese culture.
