They'd rather have central Chinese aka Real Chinese look or the Shandong look (ancient Shandong) that is prevalent in japan and places in Southern China. :)

I find the rugged Mongolian look (i.e., upslanted eyes, flat nose, flattened face, dark skin, etc.) quite unattractive. It tends to give the aura of barbarity.

Have either of these 2 or any other Asian male athletes done much for the Asian male image? (I'm not saying it is their responsibility) I mean alot of the discussion around circles (mainly Asian males I guess) is that the pioneering Asian male athlete in American sports will help make Asian males seem more as "manly" (ex. having atheletic bodies, not short or geeky etc.) and be more mainstream in American society and not so much seen as outcasts (not saying that we are). From my observations that doesn't seem to be the case, there are still too few to make much of an impact I guess.
