I had a bad day today. I spent the entire morning working and noticed five minutes before my tutorial was about to start that my wristwatch had stopped ticking. The computer clock was fine, however, and picking up the hint I took off running down the large hill that constituted my daily walk to class.
I arrived at the Law Department sweaty and tired with about a minute to spare. I opened the door to the seminar room and lo and behold, I was the only one there. I sat down and waited for about five minutes, at which time the tutor and the other students wandered on in FIVE MINUTES AFTER THE DESIGNATED START TIME. Why do tutors have schedules again? WHY??? 'Fine,' I thought, 'I can live it it. Let's just get started.'
The tutorial was alright and we left at ten past ten.
Lectures were OK for the most part until five minutes near the end of class this one girl in the far corner of the room stuck her hand up in the air and asked what the one hour lecture was about despite the fact that we had one WHOLE hour to listen and discuss. To make things worse, people gave her applause for asking such a blatantly stupid question (presumably because they themselves don't get it) and in that single minute she had succeeded in making the rest of us who understood the material look like damn fools. The lecturer didn't like her rude nature and posted a note of reprimand for the whole frickin' class earlier this evening on the department forum.
Right, so I go out for dinner only to find out that the restaurant I go to every week was closed for renovations. Sure usually it's no big deal, but after the day I had it was infuriating. I ended up having a hamburger for dinner at McDonalds and I'm going to sleep early tonight, work be damned. All it took was one day to throw my entire routine into disorder.
Edit: I'm so mad I can spit nails but my grammar and spelling have gone straight to hell.
