I do it all ways, but mostly by first downloading MP3's then transferring them to minidisk, from which I'll listen.
I also listen to a good amount of streaming audio.

I sure miss Audiogalaxy. I've heard other file sharing programs/sites just aren't quite as good.

When I make my DJ comeback, I'll get other people's groove on by using mostly records. :)

mp3s! eventually I burn em so I can listen to them in my car

I've never used AudioGalaxy, but I've had pretty good success with Kazaalite without much spyware/adware. Still get some fake files but not to bad for the stuff I d/l

CrX,
music is music no matter how you listen to it.
Music = Life...
Rock on... whether thru LP's, radio, mp3's, tapes, CD's, etc....
Its all good... :)

I use minidisc for portability, but they're kind of a pain in the ass -- I think I'm gonna get out of them and get an iPod. Though I find the sound quality of .mp3 is inferior to Minidisc and CD, it's acceptable for car and portable use.

i use to have a van halan 8 track tape...

my dad actually has a really really old 8-track player in my house when i was growing up. it was a old plastic looking-thing... yeesh.

i listen to mp3s on my computer.. eventually when i get enough money, i'm gonna get an ipod or something else that can hoard at least 3 hours of mp3s. that'd be cool.

or at the very least, an mp3 cd player.

Mp3's, I'm too poor for other stuff, though I do have a minidisk.

CD's and mp3's at home.

If someone's DJing at a party, I prefer vinyl. Especially for hip-hop. Vinyl has a great wamrth to it.

mainly mp3's but sometimes streaming audio like launch or internet radio stations (myself got busted at work by the network admins for listening to launch, hogging bandwith)
and what's the big deal with Ipod's? my nomad is the shit IMO
