View Full Version : YW GLBT Census
Well I don't know if anyone will actually participate in this poll, but I guess it will help to answer the obvious question. Chime in on how offended, pissed off, or enlightened you feel after you start seeing the numbers roll in.
Unfortunately, none of the girls were hot enough to turn our straight lines crooked.
haha! yeah... it would help if they were at least on the attractive side...
i'm bisexual. the majority of the time, i have dated and been attracted to men. but there are times that i am very attracted to women... and of course, it depends on the woman. however, i've never met a woman i've felt a really strong attraction to. but i've had many crushes.
for me, i love going to see female strippers! but only attractive ones. ;)

If so, shed some light on these clubs. I heard Power Exchange was the #1 sex club in San Francisco.
It's the most famous, for sure. Supposedly it's mostly populated by guys and trannies...hence women getting in for free. I think there are couples-only nights when things are ostensibly more interesting.
My friend used to live across from Divas (the tranny bar) and I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted to go in there but I have 8 more months before I turn 21.
You could always try AsiaSF first, though...now that I think about it, I think it might be 21+.
Also, for general fetish ambiance, you could also check out Bondage-A-Go-Go on Folsom...also 21+.
I am way way gay. But I also like sports, so I guess I am in touch with my hetero side.

I guess I don't like playing with things I already have.
Chris, are you familiar with the Power Exchange? or Divas?
If so, shed some light on these clubs. I heard Power Exchange was the #1 sex club in San Francisco. I kind of want to visit it and kill my curiousity.
My friend used to live across from Divas (the tranny bar) and I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted to go in there but I have 8 more months before I turn 21. Darn. School girl nights are on Tuesdays. I am fascinated by androgyny. I think it's cool.
Power Exchange is a sex club but I have never venture there. hehe I am on the conservative ends of things. But my friends been there and they say it okay.
Divas is okay. Not my thing. Could never go in drag. But if you want to go there. I can take you there. The neighborhood is kind of ghetto. But it all good.

I actually spent half of last summer in the Tenderloin. Nothing beats homeless people and the red light district. So cute.. I got hit on by a 5 year old boy at the playground on the corner of O'Farrell and Larkin.
You need a healthy dose of adventure. Somewhere in the Himalayas in situations involving a man-eating Yeti, Communist spies, and a doomsday machine perhaps.
Speaking of Communist spies, I've heard that the next Indiana Jones film will pit our favourite "Man with the Hat" against the Soviets. I'm so excited! But that's completely unrelated so never mind.
there's no other bi's here but me?
Well the results so far indicate that there are more non-GLBT folks responding to the poll. Hmm...I swear that there were more non-straight people on here...

LOL every freakin day is an adventure for me. i have these weird mannerisms which always get me in some sort of trouble. my friends affectionately coined them ANNErisms. i once propositioned a clown while walking the streets of salzburg, austria. (don't ask me why)
what about trysexuals? down to try anything?
ANNErisms, eh? Well, I can't say I've propositioned a clown before, but that must be amusing in some way. :D

I'm lesbian :) no I'm only kidding, I don't mean to make light of the conversation, I just felt left out. I was curious about a few things, I noticed (at least in my family) that asians tend to be more conservative, so less accepting of Homosexual tendecies. Anyone else find it odd, since after all Asians are a minority itself, so should identify with the plights of other minorities.
Second the issue of bisexuality - does anyone think that the stigma against it is learned? That is societal's imprint that makes people shy away from bisexualism? Here's my thinking, it's socially accepted for a women to be Bi, but not for a male. Therefore more women openly admit to being bi, but men do not, there aren't very many bi men out there or admit to it.
In ancient greece and even in other cultures around the world, bisexuality was accepted and even a way of life for many people. They would take a female mate to procreate, but for recreation may take a female or a male, I mean hey at least there wasn't the worry of unintended pregnacies... Anyway, just some thoughts floating around.

hey if your bi, why did you pick a husband and not a wife? Do your attraction lead toward men?

I think because she's bi... not gay. and happened to marry a man.

hmm... or maybe you lean towards one sex more strongly... but bi's are usually like that. it's hard to find one that is 50/50 and equal with their attraction and how far their attraction with go...
i don't know. i guess it is a personal choice and your comfort level of what you see yourself as.
i've never been in a romantic relationship before with a woman either but have always been attracted to other women as well as men. i think, though, that if i hadn't met my husband and was still single, i would have eventually dated a woman.
the reason why i hadn't was because a) i never met the right one and b) it took me a long time to be comfortable with the fact that i am a bisexual.
I think because she's bi... not gay. and happened to marry a man.
yes, i believe that pretty much sums up the real reason. :)

i remember that there have been more gay members than those who posted here, but some of them never became regulars. in other words, they're the type that posted for a little while, but never come back.
anyway, i myself am straight and proven straight. and there's a story to why i say i'm proven straight...

I just hope it's not a story entirely based a discussion about his penis...
Keep voting..I think it's been hard to come up with topics for this forum if I don't really know who's here..or at least how you like to identify.

I remember there being a couple of gay members here before. One was my best friend who posted a bit and then quit (Eros) and this girl KuanYin. I'm not sure if she's stopped posting or is just posting much less frequently. If Martino is a guy, the Chris Noth (back off, man, he's mine :D) comments indicate some interest in the same sex.

Haha, sorry, I hope I didn't offend you. I just have notoriously bad gaydar, to the delight of my gay friends who love to tease me about it. "Is he gay Kim? Yes? Ok, he's straight."

You might have looked to the left or the right
But if you looked up or down
Or just a little around
I'll give you a hint ... he's White.

I've only been in two semi-serious relationships with girls, I think I have bi-sexual tendencies, but I'm just really picky when it comes to going out with girls . . . . although I DO like to hit on pretty girls :) (*cough* Kasie & Pips*cough*)
the boy is going to kill me when he reads this.

Only 10? I don't feel safe with that. why would non gays discuss gay issues here?
I am way way gay. But I also like sports, so I guess I am in touch with my hetero side.
Me too!

I thought so too. I might not have been so quick to bare all otherwise.

How many of the 10 are white?
I like and meet white guys, but I don't think whites should be voting here. I'm still not sure if whites should be on this board. There are some issues I'd like to discuss about rice/potato queens but I feel inhibited.
doh. hahahah. I was reading it wrong. okay all 5 accounted for.
2 white guys. 3 asian. ;)
That isn't a good ratio on an asian board with thousands of members.
I'm really feeling small and insecure now.

im straight but got approached by people who wanted to do a gay thing with me before. but i said no thanks to their offer since im not interested in their hobby. i dont know, maybe a possibility to try something in the future if i was more curious and if i thought it can feel as good as what im doing now.

Why do you say doing gay things is a hobby? Gay sex isn't like building models; a passtime people do when they get bored. Well, most people.
"I'm bored... I think I'll go have gay sex!"
"I'm bored... I think I'll go have gay sex!"
Heh, how do you think metrosexuals were born?

They were born? I thought they were frat boys force-fed cosmopolitans and steeped for a semester in vats of skin cream, product, and axe.
