I've been getting some grey hair lately not too many but enough to notice. Does this happen to anyone? By the way I'm 20 yrs old so age isn't a factor. Is it an asian thing?

Are you under alot of stress? I notice that alot of my friends who are under of stress have the tendency to get gray hair (granted they have dark hair to begin with).

not sure, but greying on dark hair is more noticeable. it might have something to do with pigments according to race. i thought that the amount of red in my hair would have saved me from the early greying that happens in the Asian side of my family, but no genetic luck.

one or two, pretty trivial, and it wasnt like a epidemic thing, just happened to be there. my family's pretty good when it comes to hair, so far nobody ive seen (from grandparents down) has a full head of gray. no baldness either. good eyesight too. but i digress
i wouldnt sweat it if your families okay

I've got a few greys here and there. Not too many though, but on the black hair, its pretty noticible if you look for them.
I did notice among some of my Asian guy friends in college that more than a few had salt and pepper hair at about age 20.

I've had a few greys since I was really young. Always in the same spot on my head. They aren't very noticable, though.
My grandmother greyed very early, but I can't think of any other relatives who have done the same.

Prematurely grey in your 20's. Now that's a damn shame. Could be worse. Could be going prematurely bald.

I had more gray hair when I was young, like mid teens. I haven't seen one for a long time, but I'm sure there's one or two hidden in my hair.

I'm pretty sure it's caused by stress. I get these weird, wiry, kinky grey hairs every once and awhile when I'm under a lot of stress. I pull them out and they go away.

Genetically balding people start balding pretty early (some even before 20 I think), so technically balding in your 20's isn't really 'premature'

yea same here
maybe it was due to stress, my barber would find a few grey hairs here and there when cutting my hair
now i don't really see any (knocks on wood)

my mother says that if you pull a white hair, 8 of them will grow back. i hate white hairs. they're so unattractive. i pull mine. i pulled 2 yesterday. :(

man grey hair aint nothin, can always dye it back to your natural color. I think I might be balding at the ripe age of 20 :(
