Lately ive been having a raging case of pizza face in certain parts, worse then my HS years apparently
my forehead, which is supposed to have been clear since then has lately been the worst offfender, i got whiteheads and stuff popping up there especially during around the nightime. mornings the other bad time for my face though seemingly not as much. its here and there on my right cheek, but today i had a buncha whiteheads on my right cheek.
at first i figured must be my diet, mustve been the extra cheese i ate. so i cut out the cheese. hell ive decided to cut anything fried and really oily etc.
what am i supposed to wash my face with? i keep getting mixed messages. i read somewhere showering with as cold a water temp as you can bear is recommended whereas my parents told me i should use soap and warm water. i heard (dont remember where) that soap is no good.
the only other factor is that lately i havent been able to make time to jog regularly which is probly another suspect. i did have a big test though i dont think im any more or less stressed then normally.
sigh, im probly getting pimples cuz im sitting here worrying about pimples

Stupid question perhaps, but why not see a dermatologist?

i've had some asian friend get this from drinking soda. they cut out the soda, and over about a month, all the breakouts went away.

himura, i actually dont drink that much soda. i dont think its any one part of my diet thats the problem.
i sympathize with you. at age 30, during my first trimester and half of my second trimester of pregnancy, my face felt like it should be back in highschool.
hormones man. that's what did it to me.
but i did find a way to control it... first of all, you're right. a good, well balanced meal really helps especially when you limit all the junk food. exercise will probably help too.
as for cleansing... soap and water won't cut it. i used neutragena deep cleanser. it's a gel cleanser that really helped... i noticed a difference w/in days of using it.
along with that, i got those clearsil wipe-pads. i'd use three times a day... after i washed in the morning, when i got home from work, and after i washed before going to bed.
it was a life-saver! i was able to clear up my acne before my wedding.
anyway, i can't say that it will help you for sure as everyone's skin is different and reacts differently to different things... but it doesn't hurt to try.
and yes... if all else fails, go to a dermitologist.

dude, you're an 18 year old male. basically a walking bag of hormones. i'm sure your squirting all over, pores, penis, whatever.
keep a simple routine for now. don't use harsh exfoliating products. get a nice, neutral face cleaner without salicylic acid or ground walnuts or any of that shit. phisoderm is a good over the counter item. i knew one girl that used baby soap, you might want to try that too. moisturize after with some close to 100% aloe vera so it doesn't get too dried out and then DON'T TOUCH YOUR FACE. toucing your face can clog your pores.
if it persists go see a dermatologist.
you know what you can do is use a q-tip, dab a little iodine on it, and use that on the infected areas. It works well if you know you're gonna have a break out, but the white stuff didn't come out yet. But obviously do this before you go to bed, cause if you don't give it a few hours the iodine will leave a brown spot on your face.

oh yeah, that reminds me.
mr. x is still a virgin isn't he?
mr. x, find a girl, have her lay you down by the fireplace while you gaze into her eyes as she calls you "cupcake." let her take you and have her pop your cherry.
your face will clear up in no time.

the fire (or your skin) will be the least of your concerns when a chica is with you.

i posted in the other zit thread, but...
yeah, you are still a teenager, so just use a good mild cleanser. i like Cetaphil. use it regularly and especially after you sweat. and yeah, don't touch your face.
when i was a teen i had a bad problem so i went to a dermatologist and took antibiotics and prescription crreams. it worked.
the best way to prevent scars is to prevent the breakouts themsleves, through proper cleansing and possibly prescription treatment.
i still get breakouts every so often as 28-year-old. but obviously nowhere near what it used to be. i take of my skin a lot better and plus, i'm just older.

that's why you get professional hookers. the beverly hills hookers. unfortunately, they are pricey .... which brings us back to the original dilemma ....

You need to make sure you don't touch your face. My lower left cheek was really bad in high school because I would lean my head on my left hand while I write. Don't worry tho, just make sure not to scar your face. I wasn't "horrendous" but I did have a good deal amount of zits, and now my face is totally clear. Occasionally I'll get one zit, mostly if I work too many hours or when I'm stressed.
