Yah dude, send me your snail and I'll send some bucks too. I tried to send some via yellowworld's registration address, but the letter came back.

enough to maintain YW without money from the webmaster's pocket.
Any plans to set YW up as a non-profit to qualify for tax-deductible donations?

Hmm...can't kasia do that now that she's an attorney? Write up and file the incorporation paperwork and then file as a 501(c) tax-exempt organization?
Then again, I'm not sure if the benefits justify the costs in that case.

How much does it cost to become a tax-exempt?

Write up and file the incorporation paperwork and then file as a 501(c) tax-exempt organization? It's not so much the paperwork but the strategic planning necessary for putting together a non-profit. It's essentially starting up a small business that has to be accountable to the IRS.
That's not to say going non-profit is something I want to avoid completely. I think it's inevitable one day -- but after we get our website intact:)
