Since this is the Sex & HEALTH section I was hoping that maybe some of the docs on yw can help me out with something that been bothering me.

Ever since I could remember my respiratory system has been regularly clogged (nose and throat) with mucus even when I'm not apparently sick with either the flu or the cold
not heavily clogged but enough to be annoying

I find that I usually can only breath through one (whichever is less clogged it would seem) of my nostrils when I do breath through my nose otherwise I find it more comfortable to breath through my mouth
currently though my throat is somewhat raspy since I just recovered from the flu/cold

also
after the doctors took out the tube they stuck in my lungs to help me breathe and I regained consciousness during my hospital stay after my drowning incident over four years ago they gave me some kind of respiratory treatment to help me breathe easier
what happened was they put a mask to my face that was similar to the anesthesia mask except the gas that they made me breathe was like a fog and it helped to clear out my throat
However one incident that freaked me out was one treatment got me to cough up a peice of white tissue
I was pretty sure it wasn't hardened mucus sines it was too solid and tough
the nurse wasn't in the room at the time since she left me alone with my mother for a whil
i was going to tell my mother but I was still too groggy and I wasn't going to trouble her anymore

right now I don't feel the urgency to drag myself down to the doctor as of yet since I would rather not make this much of an issue at home for now but if any of you have a second opinion and some advice for me to relieve me of my condition and also an explaination for the thing that happened at the hospital I would appreciate it

Edit: i think two pieces of tissue came out.... or was it twice that it happened
I can't remember

smoking is bad for you.
so is shaving your legs in a moving car.
waxing in a moving car is a way better option.

I don't like waxing my legs, too painful. I'm a baby. I prefer nair.

go see a doctor for a second opinion. i can't give you honest and accurate advice without me examining and running some tests on you.
