I always see the asian female always walking behind the asian males if they are going out on a date. Why dont hold hands? and why is it that they never seen kissing in public like other couples?

Just a strange sight i guess.

Yeah, I've noticed that. Married couples don't ususally have rings either, but I think it's because that's mostly a Judeo-Christian kind of thing.

huh? you mean married asian couples don't have rings on their fingers? strange. If i was married, i would hold my wife's hands no matter what...unless drinking and being behind the wheel of a sports car.

>> are you talking about younger asian couples? because the ones i see are pretty affectionate...at least more than their parents ever are haha. older asian couples kinda wierd me out...the more old fashioned ones show no PDA like ever. makes me wonder if they even still enjoy being together? or maybe they just have an inability to show affection? *shrug*

sp always makes me (he doesn't force me. he wants me to?) walk either in front of him or next to him holding his hand. he won't let me walk behind him. he says that if i'm walking in front of him and someone tries to pull something on me, then he can retaliate. if i'm next to him, nobody will try to pull anything.. but if i'm behind him, something can happen and he may be too late to respond.

sp pulls random hugs and kisses. in the middle of where ever. he says a lot of asian guys don't like the tongue kissy though. is that true?

I was talking 'bout couples in Asia. Those in the US tend to follow the local custom.

Which were you talking about?

amietron: i myself like the tonguey kissy thing. . .

ikpaki: just like the other people, i think you're mostly referring to the older generation. it's weird, I don't think kissing and holding hands was invented by that time yet. i'm glad i don't have to see my parents all over each other though. that's probably one positive aspect, and the best! =)

any of you not like to show PDA?

i don't see anything wrong with it. mebbe unless you're fingering a girl in public. or a chick is jacking you off in public. that's not cool. or mebbe it is. ;) hehe. i suppose normal PDA is okay, however extreme PDA should be left behind locked doors. Kinda like when two people are tonguing the hell out of each other and you hear this wet slurping sound and it looks like the guy is fucking the girl's mouth with his tongue. that's best left in the shower, or where ever.

i didn't mean the tongue kissy in public!
agree with you about the slurping sound though.
that's a little too intimate for the streets.

yeah i've noticed that too. younger ones tend to be the ones holding hands and kissing. it juss depends, tho. cuz my boi is kinda a hardass about it. he thinks it makes him look soft if HE shows affection towards me, but he likes me to show affection towards him. i know why, too. *sigh* bois and their weird ways.

Besides holding hands, i would wrap my arms around her neck as a hug type thing.
