The thing that annoys me most about bestiality is that a lot of people spell it incorrectly.

As far as the topic is concerned, however, I would imagine that it's so very wrong from so many different angles. You're having sex with an animal that cannot give you its consent nor deny you the opportunity to...erm...have your way with it. Moreover, the law severely frowns on such practises. So why would one have the desire to partake in such gross acts of indecency?

People based on value system make a determination that something should be prohibited. Right or wrong. Of course some of what is deemed wrong is continually re-evaluated and we put it to vote to determine whether we should change our thinking on certain laws.

Using this logic, a majority of people probably thought that beastiality was wrong.

I can only imagine the debate that would go on in some legislative body, trying to legalize beastiality.
