does anyone else get light-headed after taking a multi-vitamin? it's strange; it happens to me every time. i would be feeling great beforehand. then i would decide to take a multivitamin for the hell of it. then i'd feel kinda faint.

i read somewhere there is something called a vitamin high characterized by these symptoms. i kid you not. this was awhile ago, though.

I don't get a headache, but I usually get a slight pain in my side shortly after.

yes. it's gone now. 'vitamin-high' sounds like an accurate description. lasts for about 15 minutes.

next time, i'm just going take my vitamin, lay back, and listen to trance. that might make me feel better =p

Does it have a lot of niacin? My sister gave me this supervitamin once with a ton of niacin. Knocked me flat on my ass.

My roommate caught a cold last Saturday (the 4th), so I freaked out and went to Long's to buy vitamins. I have asthma and allergies, so whenever I get bronchial illnesses it's hell.

I picked up:
-1000mg Vitamin C
-Echinacea-Goldenseal
-Calcium and Magnesium with Zinc

Should I be taking other vitamins instead? I already have a sniffly nose. :(

Why do the bottles say to take the vitamins with meals? Kasie, do you take yours on an empty stomach?

You want to take vitamins with meals to help the digestion process. The vitamins will work their way through your body faster.
