Apple - FM boots = f*ck me boots. And nope, they have thin heels. I think it depends on the style. With some shoes, you can get way with the thick heels, but these boots weren't made for the thicker heels. I love high heels. I have a large shoe collection. I am an addict in so many ways.

What do guys look for in a girl?

Let's flip this around... so what do you look for in a girl, besides killer bod and beautiful face?

This is in no particular order, so don't even bother trying to read why I put this first or that last:

LOOKS
- She has to be stylish. She doesn't need to be covered in Gucci and be on the cutting edge of fashion. If she looks absolutely fabulous in a t-shirt and jeans from K-Mart and no make-up, then that's cool with me. Or if they look good in that funky Japanese style (big weakness of mine) then that's even better. She's gotta stand out in some way.
- She doesn't need to be model skinny, and I can take a little chunk in the trunk, but nothing too fat. Breast size is unimportant, but you have to have something
- Gotta be 5'0 - 5'8 in height. I kinda like a big difference in height, all the girls keep on chanting, "The taller, the better." So that kinda stuck with me.
- Make-up is OK, just don't over do it
- Hair - has to fit her face, but I like blonde, dreadlocks, short punky style, and sometimes simple is sexy, long hair in a simple ponytail.
- Girls who don't have the typical A&F princess look, something different
- If I had to sum up the girls look in one word, like cute, sexy, etc.- it would have to be trendy

PERSONALITY

- Independent - I hate weak-willed girls, especially ones that listen to girlfriends that say, "He's not good-looking, he doesn't match your bag." If you're in a relationship with a man, you gotta stand by him and ignore all the bullshit when people talk about you and your bf. Make your own decision- if you don't like the guy for your own reasons, then that's OK. Just don't break up with him because you felt like it knocked you down a few rungs on the social ladder. I am faithful and stick by my girl, no matter what people say, so I expect the same from her.

Let's flip this around... so what do you look for in a girl, besides killer bod and beautiful face?

This is in no particular order, so don't even bother trying to read why I put this first or that last:

LOOKS
- She has to be stylish. She doesn't need to be covered in Gucci and be on the cutting edge of fashion. If she looks absolutely fabulous in a t-shirt and jeans from K-Mart and no make-up, then that's cool with me. Or if they look good in that funky Japanese style (big weakness of mine) then that's even better. She's gotta stand out in some way.
- She doesn't need to be model skinny, and I can take a little chunk in the trunk, but nothing too fat. Breast size is unimportant, but you have to have something
- Gotta be 5'0 - 5'8 in height. I kinda like a big difference in height, all the girls keep on chanting, "The taller, the better." So that kinda stuck with me.
- Make-up is OK, just don't over do it
- Hair - has to fit her face, but I like blonde, dreadlocks, short punky style, and sometimes simple is sexy, long hair in a simple ponytail.
- Girls who don't have the typical A&F princess look, something different
- If I had to sum up the girls look in one word, like cute, sexy, etc.- it would have to be trendy

PERSONALITY
- Same sense of humor- oh boy, this is the most important one. This is the one that keeps me coming back for more. Nothing too proper, a girl who can laugh at Dumb and Dumber and can enjoy a crude joke.
- Charming - this will kill me, but it's like a drug
- Doesn't see me as a bank account or financial investment - this one is the dealbreaker.
- Faithful - Now I know all the girls are- please, before you start flaming me, yes girls are just as unfaithful as the guys, sometimes even more. At my age, they're always looking for something better, they're never satisfied. They treat you like a stepping stone to something better. It's almost like dating is a race - you want to end up with the richest, most good-looking guy by 30 so you can marry him. How unromantic is that?
- Independent - I hate weak-willed girls, especially ones that listen to girlfriends that say, "He's not good-looking, he doesn't match your bag." If you're in a relationship with a man, you gotta stand by him and ignore all the bullshit when people talk about you and your bf. Make your own decision- if you don't like the guy for your own reasons, then that's OK. Just don't break up with him because you felt like it knocked you down a few rungs on the social ladder. I am faithful and stick by my girl, no matter what people say, so I expect the same from her.
-NOT Desperate and clingy - I don't mind spending a lot of time with the girl, but there are times when we can't be with each other. And I can't stand a girl who keeps on testing me everyday. If you see me talking to a girl, don't come rushing at her like Yuriko Oyama in X2 and assume I'm having an affair.
- Artsy-types - likes to go to art galleries, plays, and hang out at coffee shops and just chill.
- Has to like BMW over Mercedes-Benz, don't ask me why, but historically girls who like Mercedes, we end up hating each other. And the BMW girls I tend to get along with quite well.
- Liberal, open-minded - I don't want the thinking of some old lady. It's a pretty big turn-off when she refuses anal... I'M JOKING. Take it easy people... But seriously, a girl who says, "Ewwww... I don't eat sushi, that sounds soooo disgusting" or something like I just hate.
- The people's princess- I don't want a girl who views cooking and cleaning and driving a Toyota as peasant activities. I don't want a Beverely Hills snob. Sometimes, just cooking a dinner, cleaning up afterwards, and watching a movie with a girl can be a fun date. It's nice to do that kind of thing together.
- Passionate and romantic
- Gotta have that feeling that there's something special and unique about her, otherwise, why bother?

and race... I like Asian girls, but if I'm attracted to a non-Asian girl who knows or is open to Asian culture (won't make faces at food or freak out at the thought of taking your shoes off inside a house), then I'd go for it. I agree with both of you. I don't want to date a stunningly gorgeous girl either (in general, they have the nastiest personalities too). I find it irrational when a guy of average looks, status, etc. starts looking for those girls who look like Maxim cover girls. In fact, socio-biological studies have found that couples of similar looks, status, etc. last longer than when one person in the relationship outweighs (not in terms of body fat) the other.

Alot of intelligent and attractive girls can be pretty mean and stuckup. Part of being mean comes from fighting off the hordes of men coming on to her. But if she likes you you'll be fine. The stuckup part however is harder to overcome.

well, this is just my thinkning, but...

a lot of people in Manhattan are NY transplants. They come here to work right outta college. A lot of top-notch places to work in NY as well. So this attracts a lot of grads from top-notch schools. So you can imagine the types of people Manhattan attracts. For thos assholes/bitches out there, I don't think it is the NYC urban lifestyle that affects people, as much as it is the type of people that NYC attracts.

Hummm, since I started the other thread so I guess I should take a stab at this question.

I don't really know my type since I never had a gf. But in the past, most of the girls that I was attracted too are the nice ones that I could relate too and feel comfortable around. Ones that I could call my friend and then maybe my partner.

When I look deeper I want a girl that would complete me her. I.E. I remember I just got back one of my econ test, intermediate microeconomics, and the class average was like a 40. The material was hard and I studied like hell for it. I got a 100 on the test (only 100 in the class, beating some MIT fuckers, ahhaha). Then I felt all lonely that I had noone to share my accomplishment with, someone that can be happy for me. I would want to share her moments too and feel lonely when she's lonely and feel sad when she's sad, and feel that together the world wasn't a lonely and inhuman place.

The mean stuckup ones I knew were annoyingly intelligent (like 1500+ SATs) but never street smart. Street smart means you might have some iota of social awareness. They weren't that good looking but looked down on you. I mean for freak sake, they were probably the most lousy lay (when and if they ever finished med school and started dating.)

P.S. All girls are genetically wired to remember the bad or embarassing things you done to them forever. But ask them if they remember to not spend your money on this or that and they never remember that :D
